5 New Neighborhoods in Horizon West

Horizon West is currently one of the most popular areas in Central Florida, with new construction filling this amazing location. With this comes new communities, including five new neighborhoods in Horizon West that we are going to talk about and explore today. Not only is Horizon West an area welcoming new homes, it also is just a short drive from the theme parks, Old Town, Championsgate, and shopping/dining.

1. Silverleaf

Being built by Meritage Homes, this is the number one developing neighborhood that we are watching, for many reasons. For starters, it is right next to the new Hamlin Middle School that is scheduled to open this Fall, 2022. This new school is going to really help this area expand, taking in students from Horizon West Middle and Bridgewater Middle School. This community is also planned to go completely around Hamlin Middle, making any home in the neighborhood just a short walk away.
The price range for these homes start at the mid $500’s. Read more about this new neighborhood here.

2. Encore at Ovation

M/I Homes are the builders for this new neighborhood, with homes selling between the $500-$900’s. This is actually right across the street from their first neighborhood, serving as an expansion to the Encore community. They bought the land for their first neighborhood a while back when there was absolutely nothing in the area, so it will be interesting to see this become completely developed. Read more about their home plans and collections here.

3. West Haven at Ovation – Hartzog Road

Although Hartzog Road is going to have multiple builders throughout, we’re watching Toll Brothers as they start their neighborhood with a few homes up already. This neighborhood will have townhomes, estate-sized homes, and some rear entry homes that Horizon West is known for. With this in mind, Westhaven at Ovation will feature 368 total home sites, all in close proximity to Flamingo Crossings Village, as well as other shopping, dining, and entertainment. Single family homes will begin around the $600’s, and townhomes around the $400-$500’s. Read more about their plans and prices here.

4. Del Webb at Oasis

This neighborhood is being built by Pulte Homes, and is essentially the only 55+ adult, gated community in Horizon West. The amenity center that will be offered here is top notch, including a luxurious boutique and poolside cabanas. They will also offer a fitness center with technogym equipment, and outdoor fire pits! This neighborhood is also off the new Hartzog Road, just minutes away from the theme parks and other Central Florida attractions. View all that Del Webb at Oasis will have to offer here.

5. Osprey Ranch

Osprey Ranch by K. Hovnanian Homes aren’t selling for at least a few more months, offering rear and front entry single family homes. If you liked the home featured in the video at the top of this article, this may be the builder for you. Although we don’t know much, more information will come out about this area soon. You can view their home designs and media gallery here.
