AC Sky Bar

Rooftop dining reaches its climax of creativity and incredible views at AC Sky Bar in Downtown. Located in the AC Hotel by Marriott, AC Sky Bar is the perfect place to go for delicious drinks, yummy food, and one of a kind views.

Atmosphere

I’ve been searching for some good rooftop bars in Orlando for a while, and was so excited to find AC Sky Bar! There are two options when you arrive: valet parking or parking in the attached parking garage. We chose the parking garage which was a really fair rate of I believe $6 for two hours, if I am remembering correctly. The elevator from the parking garage will take you straight up to the AC Sky Bar. Upon emerging from the elevator, you’ll immediately be immersed into the beauty of the restaurant.

One wall of the restaurant is almost completely made up of windows, and the views are spectacular. Indoors, beautiful and classy decor set the vibe, and there are tables, couches, and a bartop for patrons to sit at.

Outdoors, there are also tables and couches, with the addition of warm fireplaces for a cozy dining experience. From the restaurant, you can see some iconic Orlando landmarks, like the Amway Center.

Food and Drink

I would say that this bar is most known for their craft cocktails, all served with a bit of flare. I was so impressed with the quality of their drinks, even their ice cubes were in perfect squares! Their drink called The Cloud has been featured in several publications as well as several viral social media videos, so of course I had to give it a shot! It was absolutely delicious but also served so cool with an actual cloud on top! I have no idea how they did it but it was showstopping.

You’ll also find drinks on their menu like elevated gin and tonics and Sunset Margaritas. They also have several beers, seltzers, and wines available.

The food here ranges from flatbreads, to salads and burgers. We had a margherita pizza which sounds simple but was full of flavor and fresh herbs. They also offer Sunday brunch, which sounds exceptional, with offerings like Chicken and Waffles served with a maple aioli.

You may be thinking, a rooftop bar, in a hotel, with incredible food and drinks must be expensive! Believe it or not, The prices were actually really comparable to other downtown restaurants. Prices range from about $15 for a burger with a side to $9 mimosas. AC Sky Bar also offers a Happy Hour with $3 beers, $5 glasses of wine, and $5 small plates.

Overall

Reach for the sky at AC Sky Bar in Downtown! The views are just as delicious as the food and drinks, and the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. Next on my list is to stay at the hotel, so I have these views outside of my own window!
