Pho on the Go: A Taste of Vietnamese Cuisine at Pho Drive Thru

Where a popular restaurant chain once stood, Wendy’s, a new Vietnamese restaurant has emerged and taken over to offer Orlando locals some of the best Vietnamese cuisine that can be found in town, both in store and on the go!

Where is it?

Just south of the heart of Orlando along South Orange Blossom Trail, Pho Drive Thru has just recently opened and transformed an old fast food drive thru into a haven for Pho lovers, boba tea drinkers, and fans of all things Vietnamese.

Sapporo Izakaya & Ramen in Metrowest

Orlando recently gained a new restaurant offering ramen and other traditional Japanese dishes. Sapporo Izakaya & Ramen is located on the west side of Orlando in Metrowest, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you find yourself on this side of town.

The Restaurant

Sapporo Izakaya & Ramen opened this spring in MetroWest, near Orlando’s Chinatown shopping center. Previously, the shopping center was the location of Sapporo Ramen, a well-loved eatery offering authentic Japanese noodles and other traditional dishes, before the restaurant closed in 2019.

Hawkers Asian Street Food in Mills 50

Traditional Asian food is great and all, but something about Asian street food just hits different. Luckily, there’s a chain dedicated to serving a host of flavors right here in Orlando, and it’s called Hawkers!

What is it?

Hawkers Asian Street Food is an Asian restaurant chain with locations in Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. This restaurant is renowned for serving unique Asian street eats and craft cocktails, and has been doing so it since was started by four best friends in 2011.

Orlando is lucky enough to have two locations - in Mills 50 and Windermere. Today, we decided to visit the Mills 50 location on North Mills Avenue, and it did not disappoint!

The Mongolorian Now Open in Mills 50

Orlando is Central Florida’s very own melting pot, and it continues to prove to be so every day by bringing us new, unique spots to eat. Located not too far from Little Vietnam in Mills 50 is the new Mongolian BBQ spot The Mongolorian. Let’s check it out!

What is The Mongolorian?

The Mongolorian is a brand new Mongolian BBQ spot located in Mills 50 on East Colonial Drive in Orlando.

This restaurant serves wok and stir-fried Mongolian dishes, and you can customize bowls to craft the perfect meal for your taste buds!

The Mongolorian had its soft opening on May 26, and as of right now, you can dine at the establishment every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
