This morning, May 24th, Mayor Buddy Dyer addressed the city of Orlando about its current state, including recognitions and accomplishments over the past year, opportunities, and introducing “The Promise of Orlando”. 

“The Promise of Orlando is hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of individual stories that are being written in our community every single day”, said Mayor Dyer, “and those stories, our stories, are the measurement of the state of our city.”

The Growth of Orlando

Just in time for National Travel & Tourism Week came Visit Orlando with the news of the city’s new ranking.

According to Visit Orlando, the city had 74 million annual visitors in 2022, which is a 25% increase in visitors over 2021.

These 74 million annual visitors helped Orlando achieve 98% of its pre-pandemic (2019) visitor levels.
