Winter Park has yet another tasty spot to grab some grub from, and it’s got a real “homey” vibe to it — and we’re not just talking about it being a converted garage — it’s The Porch!

What is The Porch?

We know what a porch is, but The Porch is a sports bar that has been converted from a garage into a hot bar and restaurant. It’s located in Winter Park on North Orange Avenue near Hannibal Square.

You can do as the restaurant’s website says and “Eat! Drink! Stay Awhile” between 11:00 AM and 2:00 AM on select days. On select nights, they also have special events alongside a happy hour that lasts for a majority of the day!

No passport? No problem! If you’re in search of a fresh place to get some unique Mexican food from the comfort of your own city, then the search ends at Pepe’s Cantina in Winter Park!

What is Pepe’s Cantina?

Pepe’s Cantina is a restaurant located in downtown Winter Park on New York Avenue. It takes authentic Mexican ingredients and combines them with what its website describes as “innovative culinary techniques.”

There are currently a total of three locations, with the other two being in Clermont and DeBary. You can stop by the Winter Park location on Sundays and Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

What is Freehand Goods?

Freehand Goods is a gift shop located inside the back of Winter Park’s East End Market on Corrine Drive.
