Capa at the Four Seasons Resort

When you think of authentic Spanish food, you might not think of finding it in Orlando. However, the Four Seasons Resort is home to a Michelin rated steakhouse – Capa. Here, they serve up traditional Spanish fare with an incredible rooftop view of Walt Disney World.

The Atmosphere

Capa is located on the 17th floor of the Four Seasons Resort, and just walking there is half the fun as the lobby and elevators are absolutely stunning. When you reach the 17th story you’ll find the restaurant. Immediately you can see how high up you are because you’ll see a huge window with a spectacular view.

Upon entering the restaurant, you’ll see the bar/ lounge area where you can partake in a beverage and some food. In addition to this, there are perfectly set tables with art on the walls and ceilings, and plenty of natural light shining through. This comes from a large row of windows and doors that allow you to walk out onto the rooftop and soak in the views around you.

When you walk outside, you can see EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and the Swan and Dolphin hotel on your left, and Magic Kingdom on your right. There are also incredible views of the homes at Golden Oak all around, and views of the swimming pool at the Four Seasons itself. This is an amazing place to visit to see the fireworks from the theme parks in the evening, and you can sip on a cocktail or a glass of wine without having to fight your way through the crowds for the best view at the theme parks themselves.

The Menu

The food at Capa is exceptional, with traditional Spanish offerings on the menu, as well as local Florida delicacies like citrus and seafood. Even simple items like the Pan Con Tomate (grilled bread with tomato) were seasoned and cooked to perfection, and my little foodie heart was just filled with so much joy.

There are so many different options for entrees and small plates. I was really impressed not only with how delicious everything tasted but also how large the portions were. Many in our group left with leftovers because the food was too good to leave behind! I recommend the Patatas Bravas, potatoes with chipotle aioli and paprika tomato sauce. Other favorites at the table include the eggplant small plate, and the lobster entree.

Because we had a birthday at the table, we definitely couldn’t skip dessert. We tried the churros and chocolate lava cake, which were exceptional. The drinks were also a hit. The sangrias were a personal favorite, but every cocktail we tried was fantastic, and they have a huge wine list as well.

Overall

Capa is an amazing restaurant to visit for world-class food and drinks with an incredible view. Perfect for a date night, celebration, or for a great spot of the fireworks, I’m already counting down the days till my next visit. Be sure to take some pictures with the gorgeous view behind you, and enjoy the Florida sunshine with the flavors of Spain!
