Citrus City Craft

Making its home in Lake Mary, Citrus City Craft is the place to go for locally brewed beers, pizza, and football watch parties. The Beer Garden is only less than a year old, but is already making a splash with special events on select nights, and their huge assortment of beers.

The Atmosphere

Citrus City Craft might be the most beautiful Beer Garden I’ve ever been to. The decor is so perfect, with oranges all around and orange paint on the walls. I also appreciated that they added some historical elements to their decorations, like vintage pictures on the walls by the restrooms.

Speaking of restrooms, here’s an Easter egg to look out for next time you visit: Take a look at the names and portraits on the bathroom doors. The women’s restroom says Mary and the men’s restroom says Frank. Mary represents the name of the woman who the city is named after, Mary Sundell. Frank is named after Frank Evans, who developed the majority of the city. 

There are a ton of tables indoors as well as a bar top to sit at, so there is plenty of space to catch the game on the weekends!

The Beer

I was truly impressed by the number of beers they have available on their menu! I really appreciated that each of the beers that were made locally had a special label on them. Each one had the variety of the beer on them as well as some tasting notes. The bartender was also happy to give me a taste of the beer before I decided on one! 

Along with the brews, Citrus City also offers a full liquor bar, with specialty cocktails on their menu. The bartender was so friendly and chatted with me about all of their events they host, like charcuterie nights that feature meat and cheese from local butchers. They also have Christmas events coming up, like Christmas Cocktails with Santa, where children can meet Santa while adults enjoy cocktails and beer.

Nearby Food

Located right next door to Citrus City is Dalli’s pizzeria. They serve up delicious pizzas, wings, and starters like garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. The bartender also told me that they plan to have a door that opens between the beer garden and the pizzeria in the future. Until then, you can order pizza online and pick it up from the shop to enjoy at Citrus City.

Overall

Citrus City Craft is a great new beer garden located in Lake Mary. A great place to go to watch the game, try an incredible variety of beers, and also support local breweries and businesses, this place is pitcher perfect!
