A new Clermont listing offers high-quality interiors and theme-park-quality decor.
Dubbed the "Adventurer's Clubhouse," the 1,638-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bath home at 16644 Caribbean Breeze Way was built in 2004. An insulated garage, pool and spa, new HVAC, double-glazed insulated windows, hurricane-impact sliding doors, and new tile flooring with custom mosaic are among the offerings.
Handcrafted woodwork, warm lantern light, hidden architectural details, and custom accents unfold in each space. Every room tells its own story with pieces sourced directly from Disney parks and resorts.

The custom theming was created by homeowner Chris Sweeney, who also happens to be an experienced carpenter and prop builder. He and his wife Kelly originally intended to use the house as a rental property before their daughter was born, so everything was built to last. Chris estimates it took five years to complete the unique additions.
Treasure hunting

Kelly Sweeney is a pastry chef at Walt Disney World Resort and Chris spent some time working there as a carpenter. Their combined efforts, along with some company contacts, helped acquire the unique pieces Chis used in his custom work.

“The house is like an art installation,” he said. “We had access to props during renovations at Animal Kingdom and the Polynesian Village. We could buy that stuff from Disney as they were renovating and we added it to the house.”

Chris’ love of the Indiana Jones films was a gateway to his Adventureland fandom. Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tiki Room and Adventurer’s Club are some of the inspirations he used in the decor. Over time, the couple also acquired several limited-edition collectibles that will remain with the home. Chris says it all belongs with the house and he wouldn’t feel right taking anything away from the displays.

“I put way too much love into this house, but I made it so the more you use it, the better it looks.”
