Fancy food comes in all genres, and luckily, there is an over abundance of upscale restaurants to dine at in the Orlando area. This one is called Doshi, and it’s bringing Korean flavors to your very own neighborhood!
What is Doshi?
Doshi is a Korean-American restaurant in Winter Park located on North Orlando Avenue. This restaurant seeks to fuse traditional Korean flavors with American fine dining — and it does an excellent job at it!
When it made its first debut as Doshibox in 2020 serving dishes out of a ghost kitchen, this restaurant was a success. Once the need for contactless dining began to die down, the owners decided to give its menu a brick and mortar to call home!
Doshi is open for dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sundays.
The Menu(s)
Doshi has three different kinds of menus to choose from depending on how you’ll be dining with them.
If you opt to eat in the dining room, you can order things like big glory cured salmon, black garlic hamachi, yuja scallop, seafood bibimbap, cheesy tteokbokki, wagyu galbi jjim and more.
Should you choose to dine at the chef’s counter, some of your options may include gyeranppang, duck bulgogi skewers, grilled squid, bimbim guksu and more.
Lastly, for the drinkers, you can order sake, Korean wines like bokbunjajoo, beers like coedo ruri, and classic red, white and rosé wines.
The Atmosphere
Dining at Doshi exudes nothing but excellence. From the soft and warm dim lighting to the black dining and wall decor.
The tasteful tiger mural in addition to the traditional Korean dining ware will make you feel like you’re eating in an entirely different country.
This restaurant definitely adds some culture to the ever-growing melting pot that is greater Orlando.
