Fun and excitement are just a few things Disney provides in abundance, and now there’s even more to enjoy. New this year is the Disney Springs Kids Club, and we have all the details about this experience that’s perfect for the whole family.
What is it?
The Disney Springs Kids Club, which opened on January 28 of this year, is a fun, interactive outdoor dance party that will get everyone up and moving. Dancing is on the agenda, of course, but kids and adults alike also have the chance to play games and participate in activities (like hula hooping).
Each week has a different act, to include:
-
Wassalou Drum Circle: Play bongos, shake maracas, or clap to the beat of this Afropop band.
-
Flight Crew: A dance party with a twist, this crew will perform acrobatics and jump rope routines while you bust a move—or just watch in amazement.
-
DJ Katie “KD Queen” Beck: Get ready to do the limbo, sing along to songs, and show off other skills at this exciting bash.
These are just some of the performing acts—check the Disney Springs Calendar before you go to see who is up for the week!
When is it?
You can catch the Kids Club on Saturdays at three different times. The first experience is at 10:30 a.m., followed by another at 11:15 a.m., then the last at noon. It’s important to note that the Kids Club could be canceled or postponed due to weather or other events, so again, make sure you check the calendar before you go.
Where is it?
The Kids Club takes place at Waterview Park, located in The Landing at Disney Springs. The mini-amphitheater lays between The Boathouse and Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, and it overlooks Lake Buena Vista. Musicians perform in the space every day, making it a great place to relax during a day at the Springs.
If the Kids Club has finished for the day, there are plenty of other places at the Springs to offer kiddos a fun time. Take a ride on the Marketplace Train Express or Carousel, or dine at interesting restaurants like Rainforest Cafe or Splitsville. The fun is endless!
