Freehand Goods at East End Market

By Yasmene Warren

Nix the old, stereotypical Disney-themed gift shops that don’t do a good job at defining Florida to its core. Freehand Goods at East End Market has made it its mission to show everyone what the Sunshine State is really all about!

What is Freehand Goods?

Freehand Goods is a gift shop located inside the back of Winter Park’s East End Market on Corrine Drive. Established in 2016, this shop prides itself on being completely local as all the goods are custom made in house by hand. Each product has fun and unique Florida-themed designs that this shop says you can’t find anywhere else.

Freehand Goods also has both an in-person shop and an online store, so you can stop by or shop for its products on the go!

The Goods

Freehand Goods sells a little bit of everything. Just about anything you could find at an ordinary gift shop can be found custom and handmade here, and of course, it’s all Florida themed!

You can purchase apparel, candles, keychains, accessories, artwork, hats, wallets, grooming items, bags and soaps at this gift shop. They also have some neat stickers with custom designs that you just can’t get anywhere else.

Deck out your bathroom with Freehand Goods’ specially crafted hair care products and handmade soaps with one-of-a-kind scents, and when you’re done, top it off with some his and hers sprays and solid colognes manufactured right here in Orlando! This shop has just about everything the average Florida man or woman could need!

“Built for True Floridians”

Want to describe the essence of Florida without describing the essence of Florida? Just step into this shop. The gator, raccoon, possum and swan-themed shop items in conjunction with the occasional swamp references and abundance of leather goods should do just the trick at giving you a good idea of what it’s like to be in Florida.

Freehand Goods loves Florida so much that it is dedicated to conserving and restoring the Sunshine State’s natural beauty by donating up to 10% of its annual sales to charities such as Conservation Florida.

Overall

Although its spot at East End Market is kind of small, the makers behind Freehand Goods has certainly made sure to fill every corner with goods that make up the heart and soul of Florida. If you’re looking for a great place to get gifts for somebody who loves the sunshine state, that aren’t Disney themed, then this is the perfect spot for you!
