Grilled Cheezus

At Grilled Cheezus, the three wise men bring brie, cheddar, and swiss instead of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. There are two locations in Downtown Orlando where you can get these delicious sandwiches. Grilled cheese sandwiches named after celebrities and movie puns are piled high with toppings and grilled for the ultimate melty grilled cheeses.

Grilled Cheese and More!

As I’m sure you can guess, the main attraction of Grilled Cheezus is their grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a variety of different flavors from the classic to those with specialty bread and toppings. If you’re a single lady, you might want to try the “Brie-yonce”, brioche filled with brie, white cheddar, ham, and white truffle honey. For all of our Southern readers, the “Bless Your Heart Brisket” could be right up your alley. This contains brioche bread, yellow cheddar, white american, brisket, caramelized onions, pickles, and BBQ sauce.

I ordered the original Grilled Cheezus, made with three different kinds of cheese. You can also choose to stuff this sandwich with a meat of your choice. It was so ooey gooey and full of flavor, all served with a small cup of tomato soup perfect for dipping! If you’re looking for some healthier options, they serve “Lettuce Pray” salads in three different varieties.

The shop also had an assortment of Phat Ash Bakes cookies available for purchase. Since the cookies are usually hard to find, I definitely snagged a few to bring home with me!

The Cheese-y Ambiance

The shop itself was so cute and simple but had fun little touches to keep the cheese theme running throughout. There are pops of yellow throughout the shop like yellow flowers in vases as well as candles with holders that are made to look like swiss cheese. Hilarious posters symbolizing the different sandwiches and more cheese puns can be found on the walls, and are perfect for a quick laugh before your sandwich is ready!

Overall

This might sound cheesy, but this restaurant is grate! With melty and toasty delicious grilled cheeses, perfectly warm and inviting tomato bisque soup, and Phat Ash Bakes cookies, you’ll definitely leave with a full belly and smile from the laughs.
