Most people don’t vacation in Orlando to stick around their hotel all day, but if this restaurant was at your hotel, maybe you would. We’re talking about HAVEN Kitchen, and its menu and atmosphere are exceptional. Let’s get into what this place is all about!
What’s HAVEN Kitchen?
HAVEN Kitchen is located on the second floor of the Lake Nona Wave Hotel on the south east side of Orlando.

This restaurant opened its doors in late 2021, and is unlike any ordinary on-site dining joint. (It’s truly in a class of its own!) From the vibrant floor to ceiling Mediterranean decor and classy atmosphere, to the gorgeous views of beautiful Lake Nona and/or the HAVEN Pool from your dining table.

HAVEN serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch and is open for dining to everyone — not just hotel guests.
Breakfast can be enjoyed as early as 6:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and until 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
You can also enjoy brunch on the weekends from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or vibe at the HAVEN Lounge from 7 p.m. to midnight on Thursdays and until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Delicious Bites
Tantalize your taste buds with excellent starters such as truffle harissa buffalo wings, fried halloumi, grilled octopus, and so much more.
Opt for a healthy dish like calabrian eggplant, Brussel sprouts, or heirloom tomato and burrata. We got the pita and hummus topped with crispy garbanzo beans, and it was truly a delight!
There are also an array of entrées to choose from, including an aleppo hot chicken sandwich, roasted snapper, flat iron steak, braised beef cheek, and local fresh pasta.
Then, top off your dinner with delectable desserts like pumpkin cheesecake, bread pudding, lemon baba, and ricotta beignet.

The Dining Experience
Dining at HAVEN Kitchen felt like being taken to an enchanting vacation wonderland. Our white marble table was set perfectly with colorful pillows at each seat, and gold accents on the chairs and table.
All of the walls are adorned with vibrant, colorful mosses with ample greenery woven into the wooden ceiling structures. You can’t miss the swanky furniture with quirky patterns and velvet chairs beneath white marble tables.

The gold accents throughout really add an upscale touch to this chic dining establishment as well - each design hand picked to emit elegance and luxury.
Overall
As if Lake Nona wasn’t enticing enough, HAVEN Kitchen truly knows how to draw in a crowd. It’s the picture-perfect spot to host events and parties or simply treat yourself to an exquisite dinner with stunning views all around. If you like a lot of visually appealing décor to accompany your meal or you simply want to get a bite of exceptionally good food, this hotel restaurant will not disappoint.
