Wishing you could go back in time to the 80s or 90s doesn’t have to be just a wish anymore! No, the time machine still hasn’t been invented, but many places are getting close to achieving the same effect with their time period-themed establishments. One worthy of noting is JoJo’s ShakeBAR, and it’s sure to blow you away!
What is JoJo’s ShakeBAR?
JoJo’s ShakeBAR is both a bar and restaurant with themes that highlight the nostalgia that’s associated with the beloved 80s and 90s era. The Orlando location just opened in March, 2023 and is located in Pointe Orlando on International Drive.
In addition to grabbing good eats and drinks, there are also old arcade game tables and an abundance of retro-looking decor littered throughout the restaurant to really tie in that 80s/90s vibe.
JoJo’s is open Mondays through Thursdays, as well as Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. — perfect for both early birds and night owls!
The Menu
If you’re coming here, you better come with not just an empty stomach, but a bottomless one too. JoJo’s not only has loads of menu options from brunch to mains , but the options come in pretty sizable portions.

If you’re not trying to overwhelm yourself with a big meal and just want something to snack on, you can order the spinach, artichoke & brie dip, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, an onion ring tower, or some JoJo’s fries.
JoJo’s ShakeBAR also serves salads, such as the chopped, the brussels crowe, the health nut, and the Italian stallion, as well as soups like chicken noodle, sweet heat veggie chili, and roasted tomato bisque.
Now, if you ARE looking to overwhelm yourself with something big, then there are plenty of dishes JoJo’s has in store for you!
Order sandwiches like the New Yorker, a loaded grilled cheese, a Charleston wrap, the codfather, the windy city smashburger and much more.
JoJo’s serves a lot of comfort food, some of which include fish ‘n’ chips, meat and potatoes, baked mac ‘n’ cheese, pop’s pot pie, momma’s lasagna, and the walking taco.
This restaurant may be geared toward those who lived through the 80s and 90s, but it’s totally kid friendly as well! From the kids menu, you can order your little ones chicken fingers, a cheeseburger, a turkey sandwich, a grilled cheese, a pb&j, or mac ‘n’ cheese.
With your meal, you can also order sides of coleslaw, house salad, potato salad and waffle fries.
The Shakes
The shakes at JoJo’s are unlike any other; they’re huge. Additionally, because this is a shake “bar,” you can add alcohol to some shakes for a small upcharge.
Some include:
-
Wonder Years Shake - blueberry shake topped with candy marshmallow, gummy candy ribbon and cotton candy
-
Three’s Company Shake - strawberry banana shake topped with a nutty donut hole, a chocolate cone and a sugar cookie
-
Girl Scout Shake - andes mint chocolate shake topped with toasted marshmallow, chocolate pretzel, chocolate s’more and double chocolate cookie
-
…and many more!
If these are too much for you, you can also order ordinary shake flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and more.

The Experience
As “Dancing Queen” blares through the speakers and bright, neon pink lighting casts over your head, you’re immediately transported back in time to one of the most iconic eras known to man!
Not only does the music get you going, but so do the vibes. With walls littered in polaroids and murals of Prince, Madonna and the Notorious B.I.G., you can’t help but whip your phone out for some flicks of your own.
Aside from the arcade game-themed tables, there’s also a giant wheel on the wall for those who can’t decide what kind of drink they want to get. This not only takes away the stress that comes with decision-making, but it adds to the fun dining experience, making you want to come back for more!
Overall
If you’re not a typical bar enjoyer, then JoJo’s ShakeBAR just might be the place for you because it’s far from a typical bar! Whether you’re looking for a place for great food and drinks or you’re trying to find a way to relive your youth, JoJo’s is the place to go!
Thank you again to JoJo’s ShakeBAR for inviting us out. We will definitely be back!
