Disney’s Family Magic Tour

Disney’s Family Magic Tour takes you around Magic Kingdom on a guided scavenger hunt! You will solve a series of clues, hints, and riddles as you embark on an unforgettable adventure. If you love detective style games, this is the tour for you. You will start in Main Street USA and make your way around the park, solving puzzles, playing games and maybe, just maybe, running into some surprise guests! It is very hands-on and interactive and it is sure to make your day extra fun and special. The Family Magic Tour is about two hours long and is recommended for guests who are at least four years old.

The tour costs $39 per person and as always, valid park admission is required to participate in the tour. *This tour is currently unavailable but will be returning soon.

Keys to the Kingdom Tour

Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom Tour is one of the most popular and interesting tours in all of Walt Disney World. This in-depth five-hour tour will tell the story of the fascinating history behind Magic Kingdom. One of the most popular draws to this particular tour is that you will have exclusive access to the famed underground “utilidor” tunnels.

The utilidors are right under your feet and most people don’t even know it exists! It is such a unique and magical experience that you must experience yourself! You will learn about the creation and growth of the park, explore secret locations, discover secrets about your favorite rides, learn fun Disney trivia and much more! You will also learn about the man behind the mouse, Walt Disney! The hard work, dedication, creativity, and passion that he poured into his parks is awe-inspiring! here is a strict no cameras, video equipment, or mobile phones policy that’s enforced. This tour is recommended for guests who are at least 16 years old and have a valid photo ID.

The tour costs $114 (before tax) per person. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members qualify for a 15% discount. Lunch is provided during this tour, and you will select what you want to eat before the tour begins. As always, valid park admission is required to participate in the tour. Due to the extreme popularity of this tour, I highly recommend making your reservations as far in advance as you can. 

The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour

The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour is the perfect tour for any train enthusiasts like Walt Disney! This behind-the-scenes tour will teach you many fascinating facts about steam trains and their role at Magic Kingdom. The four trains of Magic Kingdom are the Lilly Belle Roy O. Disney, Roger E. Broggie, and Walter E. Disney. The Walt Disney Railroad is 1.5 miles long and circles Magic Kingdom every day!

During the three-hour tour, you will have exclusive backstage access to the roundhouse which is where all the steam engines are stored and serviced. You will also learn what it takes to keep these turn-of-the-century-trains in excellent, working shape. Guests will also observe Disney engineers in their daily routine and hear about Walt Disney’s passion and enthusiasm for steam trains. The trains held a special place in his heart, so he decided to make them an important part of Magic Kingdom. Since this tour starts before the park opens, it is important to arrive before the 7:30am start time.

The tour costs $54 (before tax) per person and guests must be 10 years of age or older to participate. As always, valid park admission is required to participate in the tour. *This tour is temporarily unavailable, but will be returning soon.

Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour

The Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour is a wonderful tribute to Walt Disney. During this tour, you will discover what key events in Walt Disney’s life inspired him to create Magic Kingdom and beyond. This three-hour tour will take you behind-the-scenes and even give you some really interesting secrets behind the magic! Your tour guide will share many amazing facts about Walt’s early days in Marceline, Missouri. You will also learn about the stories and inspiration behind many of your favorite attractions.

One of the most interesting things shared during this tour is what inspired Walt Disney to create the iconic attractions for the 1964 World’s Fair. This is the perfect tour for every Disney lover as it will give you a unique glimpse into the life of the wonderful Walt Disney. This tour is also described as a lighter alternative to the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Although it is suited for adults, guests as young as 12 years old may attend.
