Get ready for some eggnog and some Christmas cheer at Miracle on Orange located in Winter Park! Hosted by The Courtesy, Miracle on Orange is a pop up Christmas bar that happens all throughout the country in select restaurants and bars.
This was my fourth year partaking in a Miracle bar event, and it gets better and better each year. My first two years I went to locations in Atlanta, and was so sad when I moved to Orlando because I wasn’t sure if there would be any here! Lo and behold, The Courtesy was the perfect place to host the Christmas festivities! Last year, Miracle on Orange was held at The Courtesy’s Downtown location, hence the name. This year, The Courtesy has moved to a bigger location in Winter Park, and there is even more room for Christmas cocktails.
Upon arriving at The Courtesy, you’ll know immediately that you are in the right place. Christmas lights and a wreath are hung outside, along with a huge sign proclaiming this is the location for Miracle on Orange. Upon entering, the decorations are even more impressive inside. There are lights everywhere as well as seat covers with Santa and snowmen on them, snowflakes hung high, Christmas pictures, and hidden smaller decorations all around.
Food & Drink
The best part about The Courtesy moving to a new location is that they now serve food! Small plates are served till a couple of hours before close and there are plenty of options. We tried the blue cheese tartlet which was essentially a blue cheese quiche served with pickled beets and pistachios. It was delicious! We also tried the cucumber dip which was basically like a homemade tzatziki dip! Both were incredible and I’ll definitely try more the next time we visit.
Of course, Miracle on Orange is known for their cocktails! There are a variety of options to choose from, each with their own unique liquors and ingredients.
We tried quite a few, but Santa's Little Helper and Christmas Cricket were two of our favorites. Santa’s Little Helper is a refreshing drink made with gin, eucalyptus, and sage, and served with an adorable koala you can take home with you! The Christmas Cricket was stunning! A beautiful green color, this drink was made with tequila, vanilla liqueur, mint, chocolate, bitters, and cream!
We also tried the naughty and nice shots. Both were tasty but strong! All of the cocktails are served in gorgeous glasses of different shapes and sizes. Many of these are available for purchase-with a portion of the sales donated to charity at the end of the season!
One of my favorite holiday events is back and you do not want to miss out on this one! Christmas cocktails are the star of the show at Miracle on Orange at The Courtesy in Winter Park. Small plates, beer, and wine, are also available to enjoy while you take in the lights and decor all around you. Be sure to get there early, as this event is so popular that there is usually a wait. It’s the most wonderful time for a beer!
Winter Park is a very popular place in Orlando for families of all shapes and sizes. Especially families who love the outdoors and local shops and restaurants. A city filled with history and amazing restaurants and weekend Farmers Markets, Winter Park stands out with its brick roads and beautiful lakes. Interested in homes near Winter Park?
