The holiday season is officially upon us! What better way to indulge than to have fun and give back while doing it?
Give Kids the World is a non-profit organization that has raises money to run the village reserved only for families that have children battling terminal illnesses. This little, yet so magical community can house over 100 families at once free of cost to ensure the bravest children and their siblings have the most memorable week-long vacations here in Orlando, whether that’s visiting the parks or sight seeing in the area.
Night of a Millions Lights enters its second year of participation and the turn out already has been amazing! So many other locals and their families have gathered here to donate, to enjoy the dancing light show with music decorated on the cottages, and to see how each sponsor set their dedicated houses up this year! Be sure to check out Walt Disney World’s sponsored house, alongside the Minions were adorable and full of detail. Be sure to check them out!
There’s also a tram that travels through the storybook village, showing off all the vivid lights and themes of the houses, that visitors can hop on and listen to information about the non-profit and messages from the children who have stayed there with their families. This experience is meant to not only bring joy to it’s visitors but to promote advocacy for the kids who need our help the most. It’s heartwarming and dazzling and makes the perfect place to bring your friends and family this year.
