Orlando Brunch Spot Brings 'Egg-Celente' Bites to I-Drive

By Yasmene Warren

Orlando’s tourist hot spot International Drive is serving up brunch excellence, and we’ve got the scoop on why they put the “egg” in Egg-Celente. Let’s check it out!

What is Egg-Celente?

Egg-Celente is a breakfast and brunch spot on I-Drive in Orlando that seeks to take your taste buds on an invigorating culinary journey first thing in the morning.

This restaurant takes Spanish-American flavors and turns them into one-of-a-kind dishes that make our mouths water!

Egg-Celente makes it their mission to ignite your senses and inspire your palate, so if you’re feeling creative and want to take on feast-worthy flavors yourself, stop by from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays!

What We Got and What to Get

Whether you’re feeling classic breakfast foods or you’re looking to try something new, Egg-Celente won’t disappoint.

For the traditional breakfast lovers, this place offers waffles, pancakes, french toast, and plenty of eggs. We tried the french toast and paired it with fruits galore, and the flavors were to die for!

The fluffy bread combined with ample powdered sugar and sweet strawberries sent our taste buds on a one-way flight to flavor town, and a side of home fries really adds the right amount of savor to the sweetness.

Outside of your morning favorites, Egg-Celente also serves breakfast sandwiches, paninis, burgers, wraps, tacos, and even pasta. So no matter what kind of mood you’re in, this spot will certainly leave you feeling satisfied.

The Atmosphere

As soon as you step into Egg-Celente’s doors, you’ll be met with a warm, inviting environment filled with chic greenery, modern decor, and ample eating space.

The walls are lined with mirrors, decorative plants, and screens depicting gorgeous mountain views. From the ceiling hangs unique light fixtures, string lights, and dozens more greenery. There's plenty of seating as well, with a large group of tables in the center of the restaurant, a short hallway with more tables, and a bar with some limited seating.

Overall

Next time you’re on the tourist side of town and you’re looking for breakfast bites that won’t disappoint, make Egg-Celente the place to go. From fruity sugar-filled pancakes and waffles to savory pesto scrambles, there’s plenty on the menu here to treat your taste buds to something good!

International Drive

Known as Orlando’s entertainment destination, International Drive is a road in this tourist town that is filled with hundreds of things to do that keep the city at the top of the list of best places to visit in the country. It’s home to Orlando staples like ICON Park, Ripley’s, Dave & Buster’s, and so much more. Some of our favorites include Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf for a round of golf with the family, then ending the day with a delicious shake from Jojo's ShakeBAR.

Spend a day on the I-Drive strip alone, and boredom will never cross your mind. In addition to entertainment, it’s also a hot spot for dining, shopping, and lodging. If fun is at the top of your list when finding a place to call home, let our team help you look for homes in the area!
