Disney fans- good news! Disney just released a ton of new information about opening timelines for some of our favorite Magic Kingdom shows and parades!

Festival of Fantasy Parade

The Festival of Fantasy Parade will be returning to Magic Kingdom on March 9, 2022! This will be the first time that this parade will be running since the parks closed due to the global pandemic in March of 2020. This date also falls on the 8th anniversary of the parade! It has also been said that the famous Maleficent dragon float will be returning to the parade line up! Festival of Fantasy Parade will also feature characters from Tangled, Brave, The Princess and the Frog and more once it returns!

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade

Last November at the Disney D23 Expo, it was announced that Magic Kingdom would be getting a brand-new cavalcade in 2022. We now know that the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade will be debuting at Magic Kingdom on February 11, 2022! This will be Disney’s biggest cavalcade to date! It will feature characters from ZootopiaThe Jungle BookThe Three Caballeros, Moana, The Incredibles, Merida and so much more! This will also be the first time that guests will be able to see Miguel from Coco at Magic Kingdom!

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire

All Disney guests love the classic stage shows featuring Mickey & his pals at Cinderella Castle. There is a fan favorite show returning on February 25, 2022- Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire! The show will return as the same stage show that we all know and love but with a new and magical 50th Anniversary twist! Newly added scenes featuring FrozenTangled and The Princess and the Frog will also now grace the stage! A new song called “Where the Magic Feels Like Home” will also debut with the return of the show.

Frontierland Hoedown

One of Frontierland’s best kept secrets is returning soon! The Frontierland Hoedown will be dancing its way back into Magic Kingdom on February 11, 2022! This fun hoedown featured fun music and dancing and you were able to see characters like Br’er Rabbit, Br’er Fox, Br’er Bear, Clarabelle Cow, and the Country Bears along with Cast Members on the streets of Frontierland. This was always a fun surprise. There were never any official times for the show- it always just happened randomly. It’s a lot of fun to watch and it will definitely put a smile on your face!

With all this news just announced, it seems that over the next couple months, Disney World will be finally feeling like the good old days again! Disney Parades and shows are always a wonderful and fun time at the parks for all ages. What are you looking forward to the most?
