By Yasmene Warren

Ordinary pizza — you’re going to need to sit this one out, because there’s a trendy pizzeria in town, and his name is Bruno! Italian pizza franchise Pizza Bruno is one of Orlando’s hidden gems, and it’s putting other pizzerias to the test. Let’s check it out!

All About Pizza Bruno

Pizza Bruno is a local pizzeria in Orlando with two locations: one on Curry Ford Road, and one in College Park on Edgewater Drive. We visited the Curry Ford location, which is just down the street from one of our other favorite spots in this area, Papa Llama - Good Food & Natural Wine!

Founded by its namesake, Bruno Zacchini, Pizza Bruno opened in June 2016 and has since been a hit among Orlando locals and visitors alike. More than just a pizzeria, Pizza Bruno serves Italian delicacies like pasta, brunch items, salads, and desserts!

Catch the Curry Ford location during its operational hours:

Monday - Thursday: 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday: 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Sunday: 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (brunch available 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.)

What’s On the Menu?

Before diving into your delectable dinner, kick off your meal with some palate-pleasing appetizers. From garlic knots and wings to octopus and cauliflower, you can snack on a variety of unique flavors.

If you aren’t looking for anything heavy, you can order from the greens and garden and get chopped, kale, or tomato salads.

All pizzas are hand stretched and cooked to order, and some of the amazing ones you can try include the margherita, the blanca, the crimson ghost, and the viva verde.

We tried the tight socks pizza, which comes with smoked Gouda, parmesan, pepperoni, emperor’s swirl, and Thai basil. The margherita pizza was exquisite as well, and we topped it off with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar to give it that extra kick!

If you’re dining during brunch, you’ll definitely want to try the cinnamon sugar knots, the frittata, or the Dutch baby — all fantastic finds you won’t find at your everyday pizzeria.

On Tuesdays only, you can order from a selection of house-made pasta, including dishes such as classic spaghetti and meatballs, rigatoni with sausage and basil pesto, chili crisp carbonara and more. Be sure to bring your kids along, because from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., kids 5 and under eat for free!

For dessert, you can order items such as a classic, nutella, or tahini sweet cream cannoli, gelato/sorbet, tiramisu, or a rootbeer float to top off your savory dining experience.
