Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria

If you’re looking for some of the best sandwiches in Orlando, look no further than Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria in the Milk District of Orlando. Serving up sandwiches, tea, desserts, and more, this shop is a popular place to visit for a meal or a midnight snack.

Sandwiches

Pom Pom’s is famous for its sandwiches, and you can choose from so many different and unique types! My personal favorite is the Seasonal Berry Melt. Seasonal berries, red onions, and brie cheese fill this delicious sandwich. I usually pair it with the sourdough bread and trust me, it’s delicious!

The crowd favorite is absolutely Mama Ling Ling’s Thanksgiving. This one is piled high with turkey, gouda, stuffing, ginger cranberry chutney, mashed potatoes and cream cheese. Served with a side of gravy for dipping. If we haven’t made you hungry enough already, other choices for sandwiches include the Spicy Elvis. This is made with spicy peanut butter, bananas, jelly and bacon. They also have traditional sandwiches like tuna melts and hot pastramis for those a little less adventurous.

Along with sandwiches, Pom Pom’s serves up salads and sides like you’ve never tasted before. Their sides include noodles and slaw dishes, each with a unique flavor profile. My personal favorite are the noodles, served with a peanut sauce, scallions, cilantro, and carrots. However, the fan favorite is the Spicy Turkey Mac N’ Chez which has cheddar, tomatoes, scallions, and sriracha. Be sure to also ask about the soup and grits of the day, or check daily on their Instagram!

Don’t forget to save room for dessert! Pom Pom’s serves up delicious cupcakes, cookies, and more. These can vary depending on the day you visit.

Teas & Drinks

Along with their delicious food, Pom Pom’s is also known for their assortment of teas! You can choose to get a teapot or just a cup of hot or iced tea. If you get a combo with your meal, your cup of tea can be included with a side of your choice. There are teas to entice any set of taste buds, from green to herbal. They also serve sodas if you prefer this instead.

The Ambiance

Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria is located in the Milk District, and is right next door to a record shop. Inside of the restaurant, there are art pieces created by local artists hanging on the walls, which are all available for purchase. Pom Pom’s has varying hours throughout the week, typically opening at 11 a.m. and closing anywhere between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays however, Pom Pom’s is open until 2 a.m., which is perfect for those late night cravings.

Overall

Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria is the place to go for delicious sandwiches, teas, desserts, and more. LGBTQ+ owned, it’s also the perfect place to stop by for Pride month as you might see some rainbow Pride desserts in their display, or taste their famous rainbow grilled cheese.
