Pour Choice Taphouse on Mills

Pour Choice

Earlier in November, Mills Ave welcomed its new neighbor, Pour Choice Taphouse. This is the very first self pour brewhouse in central Florida and we are all so excited to get to stop in.  Pour Choice houses over 50 different taps of beer and you’re in control of what you’d like to try!

How it Works

Upon being greeted at the door, there are different levels you can choose from in regards to how many pours you would like to do throughout your visit. After putting your card on file and showing your ID, the host will provide you with a high tech bracelet that communicates with the machines on how much you have left on it. Just place it next to the brew you’d like and boom! No waiting in bar lines, no more waiting at all! This technology shows a guest how much they’ve poured so they can pace themselves accordingly. And even better, the host also has this information so they can keep in line with any restrictions. Super cool!

About the Owners

Pour Choice is owned and run by three UCF alumni, Drew Belani, Miguel Ramos and Heidi Brewer. Brewer saw a similar business outside of Florida and knew she had to inform her friends of her vision. Together these three entrepreneurs opened Pour Choice making it the first self-serve tap house in Orlando. Today, only 2 months after opening, they are already envisioning a more broad selection. Some additions of more local and even international brewers. Fingers crossed! The owners are also working to get a decent schedule going with food trucks in the area, because they do not offer full meals at Taphouse. Overall, the owners are passionate about good beer, they are obsessed with the customer experience and they are more than ready to show you what you’ve been missing!

Food & Events

While Pour Choice doesn’t have any in house food options, they have a wide variety of food trucks and special events to keep you coming back! Some of Orlando’s best food trucks swing by, like Apizzamia. A pizza truck ran by an artisan pizza chef full of delicious classics and fresh takes on pizza.

They also have events like The Mills 50 Parking Lot Party Farmers Market on February 6th, Football Nights, and game nights. These events bring in other foodtrucks and vendors as well that make every visit to Pour Choice interesting and new!
