If you’ve ever wanted to eat, drink, bowl, and shop all in one place, then you’re in luck. Primrose Lanes Restaurant and Bowling Club just had its soft opening, and it’s already a hit among locals. Let’s check it out!
About Primrose Lanes
Primrose Lanes Restaurant and Bowling Club is an entertainment spot located on North Primrose Drive in Orlando.
This place got its start as Colonial Lanes in 1959, and when it got sold to a self-storage developer and neared the brink of destruction, the community in the Milk District came together and brought it back to life.
According to its website, this place’s previous 32 lanes were no more thanks to work by past developers. All that remained were eight lanes, and Team Market Group worked with what they had to repurpose the site and honor the building’s past.
Now, the team behind Primrose Lanes seeks to “provide feel-good dining and unique entertainment in the Milk District.”
Want to take a piece of Primrose Lanes home with you? There's even a spot in this location where you can purchase personalized bowling pins, bowling balls, shoes, and apparel.
You can be a part of the fun every day from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Primrose Lanes offers a café, bar, and a restaurant to suit all your dining needs.
Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and this menu offers a breakfast sandwich, strawberry and honey toast, ricotta scramble, a frittata, and grilled avocado. On the side, you can grab a crispy hashbrown, nueske bacon, or sage maple sausage.
At the restaurant, you can order “Funyun” fried onions, pickle dip, crab cake fritters and more as starters.
Some sandwiches include the house-made hot dog, the O.K.C. smashburger, and the smoked prime rib.
For main dishes, Primrose Lanes offers smoked barbecue ribs, pastrami and frites, ½ roasted chicken, and the pan fried snapper.
Smoked BBQ Ribs with Cabbage Slaw
There are also salads like kale Caesar and Primrose chopped, and the cold bar offers seafood like shrimp cocktail, oysters on ½ shell, and tuna tartare.
To top it all off, you can order a soft serve ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, or both, as well as all the toppings you can imagine!
Some of the cocktails Primrose Lanes offers include a lemongrass mule, a watermelon margarita, an old fashioned and more, with a variety of martinis, wines, and beer to choose from.
Primrose Lanes offers a modern touch on a classic sport and couples it with fine dining and fancy drinks. The inside will make you feel like you’re in another world with its low lights, neon signs, low and high top bars, and comfy seating.
Enjoy dinner and a show by eating in the dining room and watching guests bowl to their heart’s content through the windows behind the bar.
Orlando already has a lot of entertainment to go around, but Primrose Lanes offers a unique experience that will blow everything else out of the water. When you’re fiending for good times and good eats, make it an easy decision by coming here!
