Pups Pub Orlando

Bar hopping takes on a fun twist at Pups Pub Orlando, an indoor dog park and bar! Grab a drink with your pup at the brand new location in Downtown Orlando, and enjoy meeting other Orlando locals and dog parents. The best part is that it is all indoors so you can keep cool from the Florida sun.

A Bar + Dogs?

Pups Pub is a full liquor dog park bar that just recently opened on July 1st! We are lucky enough to be home to their second location in Downtown Orlando, after the success of their first in Tampa. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this incredible park. As someone who recently moved here from Atlanta, I’ve been hoping and crossing all of my fingers for a fun and innovative dog park. One that both myself and my dog would love, and my wish came true with Pups Pub.

The staff is incredibly friendly, there to answer any questions you may have, and keep your dog happy and safe. They also have the system of cleaning up pet waste locked down! I was hesitant about an indoor dog park because I was worried about the smell from the artificial turf, but the entire place smelled genuinely good. This is all thanks to the filtration system under the floor and the incredible cleaning protocols that the staff follows. The staff also had blow horns with them at all times, which made me feel really safe with my dog in case any hostility broke out between different pups.

Theming

Every detail of the place was beautifully put together. Underneath the bartop there were hooks in the shape of dog tails to hang your bag on. Other decor included a picture of doggy star Air Bud next to the Basketball Arcade Game. Hilarious paintings and neon signs on the walls also proclaimed that this was home to “Bitches Runnin’ Wild” and “Bad Mother Puppers”. These all had benches underneath so you can get the perfect picture of your furry BFF for your instagram feed.

The indoor area also has lots of tables, chairs, and booths available for humans and dogs to relax in, and there is also an outdoor area for dogs to play. The bar will also be hosting events in the future, such as trivia night on Tuesdays, so be sure to check out their social media accounts or website to join in the fun!

The Bar

When we went, the inventory for the bar unfortunately hadn’t arrived yet, so I can’t attest to their signature cocktails. However, the ingredients for them all sounded delicious. The menu includes draft beer, wine, and a variety of liquors to choose from. I tried a very unique beer made with Elderberry and it was so good! I cannot wait to go back and try the different creations they make, like the “Puptown Girl” and the “Breakfast at Sniff-anys”.

Where Else Can I Bring My Dog?

If you are a dog lover, you’ll find no shortage of dog friendly places in Downtown Orlando where Pups Pub is located. Lake Eola is a beautiful park with walking trails, a lake filled with swans, and so much more to roam through. There are also many dog friendly restaurants in the area including my personal favorite, Lake Eola Wine Company. You’ll find no shortage of things to do in this location of Orlando. If you’re traveling outside of downtown, there’s also Lake Baldwin and Kissimmee Lakefront Park where your pup can roam free.

Overall

Pups Pub is the newest place to paw-ty with your bone-afide bestie. Be sure to check out their website before you visit to make sure your pup is ready to join in the fun. All dogs are required to be fixed and be up to date on their vaccines. You can choose to bring your dog with a day, month, or year pass at Pubs Pub.
