Restaurants Now Open (and Coming Soon) to Flamingo Crossings

By Holley Long

A few years ago, Flamingo Crossings Town Center, located in Horizon West, was just a bunch of empty buildings, waiting to be filled with businesses. Now, the area is full of shops, hotels, and restaurants, and the people who call the area home have a spot to eat, drink, and hang out.

Today we’ve compiled a list of all the restaurants that have opened fairly recently, and those that are opening soon, at Flamingo Crossings. From local chains to brand new restaurants joining the area, there are options for all to enjoy. Let’s check them out!

Now Open

Order up! The restaurants listed below are open now at Flamingo Crossings, and each one has something special to offer.

  • Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ (opened June 2023) - The dishes and sauces at this restaurant are inspired by barbecue regions around the country, from the Carolinas to Kansas City. The meats are smoked daily to perfection, and Ellie Lou’s also offers seasonal specials.

  • Hash House a Go Go (opened June 2023) - Hash House serves “twisted” Midwestern farm food (think chicken and waffles, stuffed burgers, and gigantic pancakes). If you need a good dose of comfort food—along with some creative cocktails—this is the place to go.

  • Persimmon Hollow (opened June 2023) - Persimmon Hollow is a brewery that has everything you need for a fun time—a rotating tap list, delicious food, board games, and even trivia and bingo nights.

  • PITA Mediterranean Street Food (opened May 2023) - The restaurant name says it all. PITA is where you can snag great dishes like gyros, falafel, shawarma, and, a sweet favorite, baklava.

  • Pieology (opened November 2022) - Order your pie the way you like it at this build-your-own pizza bar. You can get creative with an assortment of sauces and toppings, or choose one of the signature pizzas, like Margherita, Veggie Pesto, or Fire Grilled BBQ Chicken.

  • Gyu-Kaku (opened December 2022) - This Japanese BBQ restaurant is a dining experience. Choose from an assortment of marinated meats, then cook it all yourself over a flaming grill. Not in the mood to cook? There’s also sushi, fried rice, and noodles to enjoy.

  • Dunkin’ (opened January 2023) - Coffee, doughnuts, and breakfast sandwiches? Whatever your early morning craving is, Dunkin’ has you covered.

  • Starbucks (opened December 2022) - Having a location of this coffee chain elevates the status of any area, in my opinion. Whether you’re in need of a morning latte, breakfast pastry, or quick sandwich, Starbucks is there for you.

  • Wendy’s (opened December 2022) - This delicious fast food chain has it all for a quick lunch or dinner, from burgers to chicken sandwiches to spicy nuggets. And, if you’re a morning person, their breakfast menu is pretty great, too (I mean, the Frosty-ccino? Perfection).

Being on Disney property, some of these restaurants may offer Cast Member discounts, so be sure to ask before you pay for your meal!

Opening Soon

We’re still waiting for the grand opening of these restaurants, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited, right? Here’s what’s coming to Flamingo Crossings.

  • Lime Fresh Mexican Grill - Here’s where you’ll get locally sourced Mexican food made in house. There will be tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, and more on the menu, and it’ll also have a walk-up window to order from, making this a convenient lunchtime option.

  • Skyline Chili - Where else can you get a plate of spaghetti smothered in a secret chili recipe? At Skyline, you can also expect hot dogs, burritos, and sandwiches, and, if you want something lighter, the restaurant will have wraps and salads, too.

  • Simply Capri -  A meal at Simply Capri will send your taste buds on a mini vacation with its dishes inspired by Italy’s Amalfi Coast. There will be seafood pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and traditional Italian desserts like tiramisu and gelato.

Overall

Flamingo Crossings Town Center’s dining options have increased so much in the last few years, and as more people move to the area, they will only see more growth. If any of the restaurants on this list have your mouth watering, make sure to stop by and give them a shot!

Flamingo Crossings Town Center

Owned by Disney, Flamingo Crossings Town Center provides lodging, shopping, and dining outside of the hustle and bustle of the Disney World bubble. It also has a Target and Walgreens and a recently opened AdventHealth ER, and over the next few years it will continue to grow to satisfy the needs of residents in the community.

Neighborhoods under development in the area include Encore at Ovation and Harvest at Ovation, with homes starting in the low $400s.
