It’s officially the holiday season at Walt Disney World – Santa Claus, festive lights, Christmas trees at every park, lots of sweet treats, and now sleigh rides! Yes, you read that right! Sleigh rides are back at Walt Disney World for a limited time. Here’s what you need to know!
Holiday Sleigh Rides
One of our favorite Disney holiday activities is back again! Located by the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, guests can take a horse-drawn carriage sleigh ride! Each ride costs $75 (before tax) and will run about 25 minutes. Guests will be magically whisked around starting at the Tri Circle D-Ranch Barn and taken through the beautifully decorated festive campground and woodland beauty! Each sleigh can fit up to four adults, or two adults and three small children.
Scheduling
Because this is such a popular, limited time activity, advanced reservations are highly recommended. The sleigh rides will run multiple times throughout the day from December 1st until December 30th. Reservations are open now and are going quickly! The holiday sleigh ride is perfect for guests of all ages and there is no height requirement! It is important to note, however, that children must ride with at least one adult present. Guests planning to drive to their reservation, must park at the main entrance of Fort Wilderness and take a bus to the Settlement Bus Depot.

This is one of the most fun and unique holiday activities at Walt Disney World. With all of the holiday activities to choose from during the “most wonderful time of the year”, this one feels extra magical! To be whisked away with your family or friends to enjoy beautiful, holiday scenery of the Fort Wilderness Resort area, is the perfect way to spend some quality time together.
