Most gift shops in Orlando tend to carry the same vibe: beachy, Disney, and endless summer. If you’re someone who doesn’t frequent Florida, those kinds of knick knacks may do you just fine. For those routine tourists however, you may need something different to take back home. Luckily, there are quite a few unique, small gift shops around Orlando. Let’s check them out!
YAY! Tiny Shop
If you’re looking for things that make you say “yay!” then we have the perfect place for you. YAY! Tiny Shop is a gift boutique on North Orange Avenue in Orlando nestled in Ivanhoe Village.
Although this store is as its name suggests, tiny, it has a lot to offer. This boutique sells a variety of trinkets, jewelry, candles, accessories, stickers and so much more.
You can find paintings, small kitchenware, books, and cards, as well as more specific items like bridal themed jewelry and accessories, Wednesday Addams themed items, Barbie themed items and more.
Because this store is tiny, it has a four customer limit in its shop, and you can shop Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Miscellaneous Market
Located along the same strip in Ivanhoe Village on North Orange Avenue is where you’ll find Miscellaneous Market, a gift boutique that offers just a little bit of everything.
Lining the walls of this shop, you’ll find an array of witty and uniquely themed cards waiting to be gifted to that special person in your life. There are also tons of chic accessories such as sunglasses, claw clips, earrings, and glasses that you won’t find at your average gift shop.
You’ll also find select skin care items, candles, drink glasses, decor books, and plenty of other “miscellaneous” things!
Whatever miscellaneous item you’re looking for, this place is sure to have it! You can shop Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Maffrey’s
As its website states, this shop is dedicated to selling the good goods. We’re talking about Maffrey’s and it’s yet another gift shop along North Orange Avenue in Ivanhoe Village.
Similar to the other gift shops mentioned in this article, Maffrey’s sells a wide variety of unique items. This place, however, tends to give some of their items that tourism touch by making them Florida or Orlando themed. They sell items such as kitchenware, bar soap, hand-poured candles, books, towels, glassware, pet toys and a whole lot more!
In Mather's, you can find Florida-shaped measuring spoons and Orlando zip code pillows and stickers, which are perfect for Florida fiends and collectors of unique items alike!
There are so many fun items at this shop that you’ll be happily overwhelmed, so check it out for yourself Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Gasp Happy Store
Last but not least — and the only shop listed that’s not in Ivanhoe Village — is Gasp Happy Store on East Canton Avenue in Winter Park.
Walking into Gasp will have you feeling like you’ve been transported to Barbie’s World with just how pink everything is! But this shop’s color isn’t its only show-stopping aspect. Gasp sells pretty much everything, and it’s all items you won’t find just anywhere!
At Gasp, you’ll find clothing, kitchen essentials, home decor, accessories, car accessories, stationary items, stickers and decals, party items and pet stuff!
You can also shop by trends or themes, such as bachelorette gift ideas or celebrity-inspired items.
This place is really a one-stop-shop for all your gifting needs, and you can check it out Sundays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Overall
Everybody is unique in their own way, and when it comes to gift giving, they deserve to be gifted items just as unique as them! Thankfully, Orlando has plenty of shops within its city limits that’ll get the job done perfectly.
