St Patricks Day To Do in Orlando 2023

By Holley Long

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner—how will you spend it? Luckily, there’s no shortage of fun things to do in Orlando to celebrate the Irish holiday, and we’ve gathered a few ideas to help you plan.

8th Annual Crooked Can Celtic Fest

Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day all weekend long at the 8th Annual Crooked Can Celtic Fest. Hosted by Crooked Can Brewing Company, a craft brewery in Downtown Winter Garden, the festival will feature live celtic music, Irish dancers, traditional dishes, and more.

Starting Friday, March 17 and running until Sunday the 19th, the Celtic Fest is free and open to all ages. If this event sounds like your speed, make sure you wear comfortable shoes so you can dance the night(s) away!

St. Patrick's Day Festival in the Park

Spring seems to have come early to central Florida, making a day spent outdoors all the more appealing. If you want to get some fresh air for the holiday, check out the St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Center Lake Park in Oviedo

The festival will have live entertainment, face painting, juggling, and, of course, green beer. The festival lasts two days, so if you can’t make it on St. Patrick’s Day, you can still enjoy it on Saturday.

The Lucky Leprechaun Irish Pub

If you’re looking for a truly authentic St. Patrick’s Day celebration, The Lucky Leprechaun Irish Pub on I-Drive will deliver. The day-long party will consist of live Irish performances, and the pub will serve traditional Irish dishes like corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew, and fish and chips.

The best part? There’s no cover charge to get inside the pub. It’s just recommended that you arrive early to beat the crowd.

ShamRock The Block Street Party at Thornton Park

The 808, Cavo's Bar & Kitchen and Burton's Thornton Park are hosting the Second Annual ShamRock The Block Street Party! Starting at 4 p.m., you can enjoy food from local vendors, play street games like cornhole and beer pong, and, if you’re a college basketball fan, watch March to Madness on a giant screen.

Tickets for the event are $10 if you buy them in advance, or $15 if you buy them the day of the event. You must be 21 or older to attend the event, and each ticket includes one free drink (but you must claim it before 8 p.m).

Overall

Whatever you do on St. Patrick’s Day, we know it’ll be a blast! Enjoy the holiday—and make sure you wear green, so you don’t find yourself in a “pinch.”
