Everybody loves the taste of street food, and it doesn’t get more street-like than when you’re dining at a food truck. Luckily, Orlando has got some great food trucks within its limits — a lot of which are of the taco variety — and we’re going to dive deep into which ones are the best of the best!
La Patrona Tacos & Birria House
La Patrona Tacos & Birria House is a taco truck in Winter Park on Howell Branch Road that serves traditional tacos, birria, bowls, burritos and more.
La Patrona has been servicing the Orlando area for the past two years, and it has been a big hit throughout the community, amassing 8.5k followers on its Instagram @la_patrona_tacos_birriahouse.
Some of its best sellers include the quesabirria, cheese crust steak street taco, cheese crust street taco, birria burrito, and three birria tacos. You can also order dishes like a small or large pizza birria, a Guadalajara taco bowl, birria ramen, birria nachos, a sandwich birria melt and more.
Quench your thirst with drinks such as passion fruit lemonade, horchata, jarritos, Coke, Sprite and bottled water.
This truck operates Mondays through Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Blessed Belly Birrieria y Taqueria
Get your “gourmet on the go” at Blessed Belly Birrieria y Taqueria, a food truck that serves authentic Jalisco Mexican birria in Kissimmee. This food truck is located in Food Truck Heaven on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway next to Orange World.
Just like La Patrona, Blessed Belly serves all sorts of traditional birria dishes. However, this food truck has some items on the menu that really help set it apart from others in the business.
At Blessed Belly, you can order a birria roll, birria torta, birria chimichanga, birria fries, hot cheetos birria tacos or quesadilla and more. Outside of birria, you can also order standard street tacos, tortas, quesadillas, burritos, chimichangas, nachos and fries.

If you’re looking for something with a little more greens, Blessed Belly also serves salad bowls that you can get made with carne asada, al pastor or chicken. When it comes to small plates, you can order sides like elote, esquite, guacamole, yellow rice and beans.
Feed your sweet tooth with desserts such as caramel filled churros, tres leches and tiramisu.
For drinks, you can order jarritos, agua frescas, horchata, parcha (passionfruit), tamarindo, jamaica, mango and pineapple juices.
On Mondays through Thursdays, as well as Sundays, you can dine at Blessed Belly from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
La Eskinna
La Eskinna is a food truck on the south side of Orlando near Hunter's Creek, located in a lot on Saturn Boulevard, that serves classic Mexican street food. Although it's located on a dirt lot, the tacos will far exceed your expectations.
This restaurant serves tacos, quesadillas, tortas, loaded fries, and plain quesadillas that you can add proteins to such as asada, barbacoa, chicken, pork, shrimp, chorizo and mushrooms.

If you’re looking for something outside of the standard, popular Mexican cuisine, you can get esquites (corn off the cob), mini flautas, birria ramen, chilaquiles, taquitos and more.
After you've had your fill and want some dessert, try some churros, churro cheesecake, or tres leches cake. As for drinks, you can get Mexican sodas, jarritos, horchata, jamaica juice or a bottle of water.
From 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays to Thursdays and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays, you can visit La Eskinna and taste the flavors of Mexico for yourself.
Food Truck Vibes
There’s something that feels a lot more intimate about dining at a food truck instead of a brick and mortar restaurant.
Oftentimes, food trucks don’t have seating areas as they’re meant to be a quick-service grab and go kind of eatery. But standing around in a parking lot surrounded by good food and good people creates a sense of community, and it feels even more warming knowing you’re enjoying food that people put their heart and soul into making.
Overall
Food trucks can be found all over the place, and there are even special areas that cater to serving food exclusively from food trucks. Luckily, Orlando has plenty of them. Whether you’re visiting World Food Trucks, Food Truck Heaven, or are merely following the Orlando Parking Lot Party for pop-up events, there are a variety of places available to meet your food truck needs!
