By Yasmene Warren

Have you ever had food so good that all you want to do after eating is pass out? Well, that’s exactly what a dish from The Pass Kitchen will do to you — it’s even in the name!

What is The Pass Kitchen?

The Pass Kitchen is a restaurant and food truck that serves unique Latin dishes, some of which have American-style dishes incorporated into them.

The kitchen is based in Altamonte Springs on Sunshine Lane, and it’s open to order pickup on Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

According to the restaurant’s website, the food truck events can also run on Sundays, and the best way to stay informed about where it’ll be is by following its Instagram and Facebook - @thepasskitchen.

The Big Bites

Tacos aren’t just for Tuesdays, and The Pass Kitchen has loads of them. Whether you’re a fan of chicken, beef or seafood, there will certainly be something on this menu to satisfy your palate; you can order a large variety including chicken tinga, Argentinian shrimp, birria, lobster, or carne asada tacos.

You don’t have to go to a pizzeria if you’re feening for a slice because you can get your fix at The Pass Kitchen with its pepperoni pizza or birria pizza!

If you’re in the mood for wings, you can order 10 of them in hot garlic or Caribbean flavors.

The Pass Kitchen also serves krunchwraps in a variety of flavors, such as birria beef, carne asada, chicken tinga, el camote, Argentinian shrimp, and lobster.

The burritos, quesadillas and rice bowls, much like the tacos and krunchwraps, come in the same varieties; you can get them with birria, chicken tinga, shrimp and more!

The Pass Kitchen crosses latin flavors with Japanese delicacies — we’re talking about ramen. You can order ramen bowls with birria beef, lobster, chicken tinga and shrimp.

If you need something sugary to cut all the savor you just had, then you’ll definitely want to order a side of bread pudding coated in cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar, and dip it in the delicious dulce leche it comes with!

The Dining Experience

When you want delicious food made with real ingredients packed with flavors from multiple cultures, you’ll be coming to The Pass Kitchen.

Although the kitchen is located in Altamonte Springs, it’s only really open for takeout as there is nowhere to dine on site. However, it being a takeout spot never stopped The Pass Kitchen from decking its space out!

With Coco playing faintly in the background of the dimly lit establishment, you can strike a pose under the cutely decorated neon signs.
