Things to do in Orlando during spring

Orlando may be known as the “Theme Park Capital of the World,” but it’s filled with other experiences fit for every type of traveler. No matter what you’re looking for, Orlando has something to offer all year long, and we have compiled them into one list! From theme park festivals to quiet gardens, here’s a fresh list of things to do this spring in Orlando!

1. Explore special springtime activities in the theme parks - $$$

Springtime at the theme parks means two major seasonal events: the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and the Seven Seas Food Festival at SeaWorld Orlando. At EPCOT, enjoy topiaries shaped like your favorite Disney characters, outdoor kitchens offering seasonal flavors, and garden exhibits in full bloom. Over at SeaWorld, sample international dishes, enjoy live concerts, and sip craft brews while strolling through a vibrant atmosphere. These festivals are included with park admission and are a must-see during spring.

Harry P. Leu Gardens is a 50-acre botanical escape just minutes from downtown Orlando. Located near the Disney area, Tibet-Butler Preserve offers several miles of well-marked trails through pine flatwoods, wetlands, and cypress swamps. It’s a great place for birdwatching and spotting native Florida wildlife like tortoises and otters. In the spring, the preserve is especially vibrant, and you can learn more about the area at their onsite nature center.
