Walt Disney World certainly knows how to make mouthwatering desserts that keep us coming back for more! From cookies, to cakes, to ice cream, Walt Disney World has everything you need to satisfy your sweet tooth. With so many great choices it is really hard to narrow it down, but here are some of the best desserts at Walt Disney World.
1. Dole Whip
Dole Whip is one of the most iconic Disney snacks of all time! It is also one of the most popular desserts that Disney has to offer. You can get it in the classic pineapple flavor or opt for one of the newer flavors such as lemon, strawberry, raspberry, lime, and coconut. You can’t go wrong with a Dole Whip! Everyone can enjoy Dole Whip too – most flavors (excluding coconut) are non-dairy! You can find Dole Whip in all four Disney parks now! Dole Whip is also available at Pineapple Lanai at the Polynesian Village Resort.
2. ‘Ohana Bread Pudding
‘Ohana’s Bread Pudding is another incredible dessert! The bread pudding is extra moist and is made with a delicious homemade caramel sauce that is drizzled overtop. To compliment the bread pudding and caramel sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream is added on top. It is nothing short of amazing! You can find ‘Ohana Bread Pudding on the dinner menu at ‘Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort.
3. Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake
Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake is one of the best desserts in all of Walt Disney World! The ultra-popular dessert is a delicious vanilla toffee cake with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream scooped on top. It is the perfect way to end a delicious meal at either the Liberty Tree Tavern or The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom. The best part is…it’s all-you-care-to-enjoy!
4. School Bread
School Bread from the Kringla Bakery Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot is another great dessert! The School Bread recipe comes from a classic Norway treat called “Skolebrød”. The delicious treat is a sweet bread roll with a vanilla pudding or custard filling. To make it even better, it’s covered with sweet icing and toasted coconut. This is the perfect snack to eat while walking around World Showcase!
5. Citrus Swirl
Citrus Swirl just made its long-awaited comeback at Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom recently- so what better time than now to go get one! This refreshing snack is made up of frozen orange juice and vanilla soft serve. It is equal parts sweet and refreshing. It is perfect for a hot day (or any day for that matter) at Magic Kingdom!
6. Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich
Another amazing dessert is the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich! You can find this delicious treat at L’Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion at Epcot. They are available in chocolate or whatever the seasonal flavor of the month is. It is a scoop of ice cream sandwiched between two delicious macarons. They are the perfect light and refreshing treat.
7. Churros
Disney knows how to do Churros right! There are so many different flavors and variations of the classic snack, but the best is the original Churro! The Churro is a sweet snack made of fried dough and is dusted with cinnamon and/or sugar. One of the best places to get Churros is at the Nomad Lounge at Animal Kingdom. You can find Churros all over any of the four main parks and at Disney Springs!
8. Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse
The Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse is out of this world-literally! You can find this tasty and unique dessert in Pandora – The World of Avatar. Not only does this dessert look really cool, but it tastes great too! It is made up of a delicious blueberry cream cheese mousse that’s topped with a passion fruit curd. It is certainly the most aesthetically pleasing dessert on this list. You can find the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse at Satu’li Canteen.
9. Hummingbird Cake
Hummingbird Cake is by far the best dessert I’ve ever had at Disney Springs. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ restaurant is known for their amazing food, but did you know that the dessert is just as incredible? Hummingbird cake is pineapple-banana cake topped with cream cheese frosting, a seasonal fruit sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I wish they sold it as an entire cake, I’d be sure to buy it! I highly recommend trying this the next time you are at Disney Springs.
10. The Kitchen Sink
For the ultimate dessert experience, I recommend The Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop in Disney’s Beach Club Resort. This fun and tasty dessert is exactly how it’s described – a kitchen sink full of ice cream! The Kitchen Sink consists of scoops of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, cookies ‘n’ cream, and mint chocolate chip ice cream, topped with hot fudge, peanut butter, snickers pieces, fresh baked brownie, and every other topping they have! They also cover it with an entire can of whipped cream! This enormous dessert is big enough to feed your entire family!

As you can see, you can find some of the best desserts at Walt Disney World … ever. With hundreds of amazing and delicious desserts to choose from, it was truly difficult to narrow the list down to ten. The next time you are at Walt Disney World, try every dessert that sounds good to you but especially try the ten that we listed here- you won’t regret it!
