When you’re out and about in Downtown Orlando, be sure to take a venture into The Woods. There won’t be any camping going on in these parts. However, If you’re in search of a hot spot to have a drink, then The Woods has got you covered. Let’s check it out!
What is The Woods?
The Woods is a cocktail bar in Downtown Orlando located on North Orange Avenue. It’s known for serving a variety of hip, unique craft cocktails.
You’ll find this bar in the Historic Rose building, which was built in 1924. Throughout the bar, there’s furniture made from a tree that fell during Hurricane Charlie — where tragedy became art!
Each week, The Woods hosts a variety of events to keep patrons entertained and engaged. Enjoy 25% off your tab during happy hour, which runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and midnight to 2 a.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, as well as all day on Sundays.
Listen to live music on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursdays are also college nights, where students over 21 can enjoy all-you-can-drink wells for $20!
Fridays are themed and vary each week including punk/emo, 80’s, rock, throwbacks, and alternative. You can stay tuned on The Woods’ Instagram to see what themes are occurring each week! If you prefer to jam with a live DJ, stop by any Saturday from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Woods is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sundays from 7 p.m. to midnight.
What to Drink and Snack On
The Woods switches up its menu seasonally. As of August 1, this bar has dropped a variety of new house and craft cocktails, build-your-own options, a classic old fashioned, margaritas, mules, and plenty of late night bites.
Some drinks you can expect to find at this bar include an Indigo Lace, the Pinkies Up, the Holy Peaches, the Twisted Whispers, and more.
Find unique flavors of egg white, pineapple juice, Tito’s vodka, white vermouth, aperol, and thin orange peel in the fancy Pinkies Up drink.
If you really want a kicker, try the 3 Rim Repo, which is made with Casamigos Reposado, elderflower, gran marnier, grapefruit, lime agave, and Secret Trio Rim.
Some of the bites The Woods has to offer include chicken and mini waffles, personal pizzas, and wings and fries. You can also snack on some freshly popped popcorn to curb your savory cravings!

The Atmosphere
This cocktail bar brings warm, welcoming lounge vibes to any occasion. Cozy up on the ample couches and sit back while watching your friends go at it at a game of darts.
