Universal Orlando Resort is gearing up for the grand opening of the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Mediterranean-inspired luxury hotel set to welcome guests in 2025 at the highly anticipated Universal Epic Universe theme park. Developed by the same minds behind Epic Universe, this stunning 500-room resort is co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co. It will offer a unique blend of immersive experiences and relaxation for the entire family to enjoy.
A Majestic Mediterranean Escape
The Universal Helios Grand Hotel draws inspiration from the astronomical and mythological themes of Epic Universe’s Celestial Park. From the moment guests arrive, they’ll be transported to a world within the palace of Helios, the Greek god of the sun. The hotel will be designed with celestial patterns, constellations, and elegant yet casual Mediterranean elements. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby will offer up-close views of Celestial Park, allowing guests to experience Epic Universe all day long.

Exclusive Theme Park Access
One of the standout features of the Universal Helios Grand Hotel is its dedicated entrance to Universal Epic Universe. Located just off the lobby, this exclusive access point allows hotel guests to easily enter and exit the theme park, making it convenient for those with a valid theme park admission. Guests staying at Universal Helios Grand Hotel, or any of the other Universal Orlando hotels, also receive Early Park Admission to enjoy select attractions at the theme parks.
Luxurious Accommodations and Family-Friendly Suites
The guest rooms and suites are bright, inviting, and warm, with the intention to evoke the tranquility of a blissful garden. Many rooms feature fantastic views of Epic Universe, allowing guests to continue their immersive experience even after leaving the park.
Unique to Universal Helios Grand Hotel are the imaginative How to Train Your Dragon Kids’ Suites. These colorful rooms are inspired by the Viking village of Berk, allowing younger guests to rest with the dragons and take to the skies in a playful, themed environment.
World-Class Dining and Entertainment
Guests don’t have to leave the property for a good bite to eat. With a variety of dining options, there is something that can cater to all tastes. Flora Taverna, a full-service restaurant, will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a light and airy atmosphere. It will feature an open-style kitchen with live cooking, Mediterranean comfort foods, pizza ovens, and al fresco seating overlooking the beautiful scenery of Celestial Park.
For those on the go, Aurora Market will provide freshly-roasted coffees, grab-and-go food items, and enticing snacks and desserts from morning to night. Meanwhile, Lotus Lagoon, the poolside bar and grill, will serve casual fare like burgers, salads, and sandwiches, along with refreshing cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
After a busy day exploring the theme parks, guests can unwind at Bar Helios, a rooftop lounge serving tapas, familiar favorites, and specialty cocktails. The bar’s 360-degree views of Epic Universe and beyond make it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the evening.
Resort-Style Amenities
The Universal Helios Grand Hotel is designed with relaxation and convenience in mind. The resort-style zero-entry pool will be an oasis for rest and rejuvenation, complete with underwater speakers, poolside cabanas available for rent, a hot tub, and poolside movies. Guests will also be able to enjoy a variety of recreational activities, making it an ideal spot for families.
For those looking to stay active, guests can check out the state-of-the-art fitness center equipped with a variety of strength and cardio equipment. A game room is also available, where guests can blast, zap, and race through a collection of arcade games with the purchase of a game card. Additionally, a Universal Orlando Resort Store on-site provides everything from sundries and necessities to exclusive Universal Orlando merchandise.
A New Era of Universal Orlando Hotels
The addition of Universal Helios Grand Hotel will bring Universal Orlando Resort’s portfolio to a total of 11 hotels, offering over 11,000 guest rooms.
