Vanessa’s Coffee Shop

Instagrammers, rejoice! Vanessa’s Coffee Shop in Lake Nona and St. Cloud is aesthetically stunning, filled with fresh food and delicious desserts. Grab something to munch on while classical music plays in the background.

About the Shop

Even from the outside, it’s hard to miss the fact that Vanessa’s isn’t like other coffee shops. As soon as you walk in, you’ll be greeted with a telephone booth filled with flowers. This sets the tone for your time here, as Vanessa’s is known for their rainbow lattes, beautiful latte art, and gorgeously plated dishes that are also filled with color.

We kept it simple when we visited and had avocado toast and a bagel sandwich. So simple, but they were both filled with flavor, and the veggies on the avocado toast were incredibly fresh! The employee suggested the quesito pastry, and it was so good. I would say even better than Black Bean Deli… but don’t tell them I said that!

Vanessa, the owner, was born in Puerto Rico and had a difficult childhood growing up. Her first job was at a Dunkin Donuts, and her father would often come in inebriated in front of her customers and co-workers. She was encouraged by those around her to keep pushing forward despite her rough upbringing, and she was determined to open her own coffee shop one day. Now, her dream has been fulfilled at two locations in Central Florida!

The Ambiance

Vanessa’s Coffee Shop is definitely a very calm place to grab some coffee, as classical music permeates the air and neutral colors line the walls. One of the coolest paintings on the wall is a map of the world, with a description of the type of coffee in each region. The couches around the shop provide a cozier nook to relax or work in. There are also plenty of tables, and bar stools at a communal table, for group study sessions and meetings.

Overall

Delicious foods and aesthetic platings unite at Vanessa’s Coffee Shop in St. Cloud and Lake Nona, whether you are looking for a quick bite of food or a photo for your instagram! No matter what you choose to munch on, I’m sure it will be as tasty as it is brew-ti-ful.

Lake Nona

We visited Vanessa’s Coffee Shop in Lake Nona, a master planned community in Central Florida. There are a wide range of new construction homes here, and I really enjoyed driving through the quiet neighborhoods and seeing the colorful houses on small lakes and ponds. Lake Nona is a great place for families and young couples, as there are great schools in the area, lots of local restaurants, and only a short drive separates Lake Nona from the theme parks and Downtown. Curious what homes look like in Lake Nona?
