Speakeasy and Book Shop

Vault 5421 is a true Speakeasy, hidden inside of Gods and Monsters comic book shop. It’s all the way in the back of the store, behind a huge door that looks like… well… a vault! You can’t miss it, the door definitely stands out and there is a sign for Vault 5421, so don’t be worried about needing a code, just walk in and enjoy!

Vault 5421 Decor

Upon entering, you will immediately be captured by the decor and spooky vibes all around. There are skeletons, creepy dolls, and adult humor tidbits written on the walls. There are also a couple of screens playing classic Halloween/Horror, 80’s and 90’s movies and computers for gaming. Super Mario was available when we visited for anyone to play for free. The bartenders were also super friendly, and groups of people were meeting for Dungeons and Dragons campaigns!

The Drinks

The best way I can describe the drinks at Vault 5421 are unique and fun! They had a lot of drinks with Asian flavors and liquors inspiring them. This is a great place to go if you love trying new things, because there are literally almost a hundred craft beers and sakes on the menu. I was definitely intrigued by the kombucha cocktails, and I tried the lemon drop flavor and it was a hit! These were light and fresh, and made me feel slightly healthy while drinking them, haha!

Monster Island Cocktail

There are also traditional cocktails on the menu to enjoy, and I tried the Monster Island in the spirit of Halloween. This was a really good sweet cocktail filled with rum and juices like guava and pineapple! Be sure to check their list of seasonal offerings as well, because they have special craft beers! Since we visited before Halloween in October, there were so many pumpkin beers to try!

Overall

For a one of a kind experience and a hidden speakeasy on I-Drive, visit Vault 5421! We enjoyed our time there so much, with so many fun activities to do and delicious drinks to partake in! Be sure to also look through the comic book store on your way in or out for one of a kind collectibles and more! Happy Halloween gourd-geous people!

Doctor Phillips

Dr. Phillips is an area of Orlando located near I-Drive and Sand Lake Road. This is a great area for families who love to go out for food and fun. With Universal literally down the street and Disney only about 20 minutes away, there is no shortage of fun to be had in this area. This is also a great place for anyone who loves the outdoors, and I frequently see people jet skiing, kayaking, and fishing on Sand Lake! Interested in homes near Dr. Phillips?
