Back in December of 2023, we discussed the Orlando Magic Project and its ambitious second phase that is set to renovate and revamp Downtown Orlando even further with a new sports entertainment district. The unnamed development has now been called Westcourt Orlando as further details have been announced, bringing with it an air of excited anticipation as this welcome change comes soon to the dynamic Downtown scene.
Where will it be located?
Westcourt Orlando will be sandwiched right in between the northern side of the Kia Center and the western side of Camping World stadium, neighboring W. Church Street, Division Avenue, W. Central Boulevard, and S. Hughey Avenue. The venue will be just a few blocks away from Lake Eola Park, Creative Village, and the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center.

What is Westcourt Orlando?
The Westcourt Orlando project touts itself as “Downtown Orlando's New Sports & Entertainment Hub: A unique urban destination offering a rich mix of live, work, and play options and amenities”, and it seems like they’re truly planning to deliver exactly that!
The gargantuan 900,000-square-foot project will bring high-rise residences, a full-service hotel, office/meeting spaces, retail shops, a massive live events venue, and on-site parking, all within walking distance of most of Downtown’s wildly populated social spots.
For its hospitality sector, the development will feature a 260-room lifestyle hotel designed to cater to both business and leisure travelers. The hotel will include an outdoor lounge, pool deck, marquee restaurant, and 16,000 square feet of meeting space, presenting itself as a new premier venue for events and conferences in Orlando.

Westcourt Orlando will have 125,000 square feet of retail space, blending dining and entertainment options in a mix of boutique and large-format enterprises. At the heart of the development will be a 1.5-acre green space, designed to host a variety of community activities, including yoga classes, farmer’s markets, food festivals, and live music events.
A 3,500-capacity live events venue is planned as part of the project, which will host a variety of concerts, galas, banquets, product launches, and private events. This venue is expected to play a key role in elevating Orlando’s entertainment scene.
Downtown can expect more residential offerings as Westcourt Orlando will introduce 270 high-rise apartments that will offer panoramic views of the downtown skyline and Disney fireworks! Residents will also have exclusive access to the hotel’s amenities, enhancing the appeal of urban living with luxury and convenience.
The project will include up to 300,000 square feet of premium Class A office space, of which 30% is already pre-leased. The office building will feature a rooftop amenity space spanning 17,000 square feet, including a 6,000-square-foot glass-enclosed event area designed for corporate and hospitality functions.
An on-site multilevel parking lot with 1,140 parking spaces will be placed right in between the hotel and the office building, bringing convenience to residents, employees, and guests alike.
Construction is set to start at the end of 2024 and the project is expected to be completed by late 2026, or early 2027.
