Travelers, rejoice! We have found the perfect bar for you in Downtown Orlando! Bellhop, located on Orange Avenue, is filled with retro decor and one of a kind crafted cocktails.
Atmosphere
Bellhop has such a cool and unique atmosphere, you’ll want to book a trip right after leaving. This bar is themed like a vintage hotel, and there are hidden details everywhere you look. Walking in, there is a wall of keys ready to take you to your “room”. Remember when hotels had keys and not plastic cards?
All around the room are lamps, couches, and bar tops in vintage style. My favorite part of the entire bar was the back wall, which was covered from head to toe in vintage suitcases. The ambience is also very chill, with dimmed lights and warm colors all around. It felt like we were walking into the Hollywood Tower Hotel from the Tower of Terror!
I’ve seen a few sources mention that the bar was created with the influence of former Disney imagineers. I haven’t been able to confirm those sources, but the decor fits that description perfectly!
Drinks
Bellhop stands out from other bars in Downtown in that the cocktails are craft cocktails and definitely unique. This was my first time going to a bar in Orlando where the menu caught me by surprise. For example, the first drink I tried was the Queen’s Park Swizzle, which was essentially a mojito but with the addition of angostura bitters. At first I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy this twist on a classic, but it was delicious!
Another drink with even more unique ingredients is the Making My Way Downtown. This drink has tequila, creme de cacao, tamarind, creme de coconut, lime, and saline solution. I also wasn’t sure about tequila in a sweet drink but it was yummy and tasted like a Tootsie Roll! I’ve also heard that the bartenders will craft a cocktail for you based on your flavor profile. When we visited we had not heard about that offering, but I would definitely love to try that next time!

For delicious drinks in a vintage and travel lover’s paradise, visit Bellhop. This bar is located in Downtown Orlando in the Historic Angebilt Hotel.
