In regards to amenities, some neighborhoods have clubhouses that are for resident-use only. Typically, these buildings will have meeting and event rooms, as well as an outdoor pool and lounge area. Some neighborhoods, such as Waterleigh (located on Hickorynut Lake), have additional amenities, such as volleyball or tennis courts. There are also small playgrounds found all throughout the residential areas.
The largest commercial area is located at the intersection of New Independence Parkway and Hamlin Groves Trail. Other highlights include world-famous theme parks, such as Disney. Horizon West is located right next to Magic Kingdom, and residents love that the theme park is only a few minutes’ drive away. Horizon West is also about 30 minutes west of Orlando, and just minutes from the Winter Garden Village shopping mall, as well as the future home of a surf park.
