The hottest Italian restaurant in Winter Garden has finally opened in Flamingo Crossings and is creating quite the buzz!
Simply Capri, located at 114 Ruby Red Place, is a high-end authentic Italian restaurant that manages to bring the scents and sounds of the beloved country to the city of Orlando. Join us as we delve into our firsthand experience and unveil the charm of this remarkable addition to the city's dining scene!
The Vibes
The first thing guests will notice (or hear) are the Italian accents carried by virtually everyone on staff, even the bartenders! The attention to detail is amazing, starting from the large potted greenery and hanging flip flops as you walk in.
Visitors can expect to be seated under high ceilings, elegant modern lighting, and the soft coastal vibes of the European beachside waves.
The location has two bars, the Negroni Bar and their outdoor Spritz Bar, along with sunny outside seating that’s beautifully decorated to teleport you to the enchanting streets of Italy (seen above).
The Menu
The offerings are smaller portioned and higher priced, but the authenticity can be savored in every bite! The entrees are labeled with their Italian names and you won't find the usual meals that you get at your local Olive Garden, that’s for sure!
The menu includes appetizers, salads, soups, pastas, seafood, steaks and authentic pizza straight from their giant brick oven.
For beverages, guests can expect popular draft beers, wines by the glass, and Italian cocktails and mocktails, a little something for all ages to enjoy.
To start, we had to have the Caesar salad ($14) and their Polpette Capresi ($14), which are cheese-covered meatballs seasoned with delicious herbs. The experience of cutting up your own salad along with soft bread in lieu of croutons was a surprisingly delicious treat!
For our entree, we had their Cacavella Caprese ($27), a scrumptious Italian ravioli cuisine that was absolutely incredible!
