The local list of celebrity-backed ventures will grow by two this week with a reality series host and two hip-hop moguls bringing their concepts to The Pointe Orlando complex.
Taffer’s Tavern
First up, hospitality expert and author John Taffer will open Taffer’s Tavern on October 15. The menu will feature comfort food classics and cocktails made with Taffer’s own whiskey brand, Browned Butter Bourbon.
Taffer has earned a following with his reality series, Bar Rescue, and has visited Central Florida venues including Maitland’s Copper Rocket, Orlando’s Game Room & Social Club, and Sanford’s Rockin’ Rhonda’s Lounge. Taffer’s Tavern debuted in 2020 in Alpharetta, Georgia and followed-up with a venue at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The dining area offers a comfortable, neighborhood environment while the kitchen focuses on the latest innovations in cooking technology to improve the quality and consistency of each dish.
The Taffer’s Tavern Pointe Orlando grand opening is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 3 p.m. Hours will be Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.-11 p.m., Friday, 4 p.m.-1 a.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.-1 a.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
Still Lounge
Next up, Still Lounge by Dre and Snoop is set to open at LIVE! at The Pointe Orlando on October 16.
Named after premium spirits brand, Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop, the 4,800-square-foot cocktail lounge offers a stylish interior featuring leather couches, booth and table seating, and dark wood finishes. The Pointe Orlando address follows the concept’s first location, The Spot By Dre and Snoop, at Nashville Live!
A rotating list of DJs, live performances, and playlists inspired by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will be complimented by a menu of top-shelf, signature cocktails.
Still Lounge will open on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. Hours are Thursday - Saturday, 7p.m-2 a.m.
