by Jessica Hristov

EPCOT is known for their amazing festivals. They have the best food, awesome merchandise, incredible entertainment and more. It’s that time of year again for the Festival of the Arts! Disney has released everything we can expect to see, eat, and do this year! Let’s take a look at what’s coming to Festival of the Arts ’23!

General Info

The Festival of the Arts runs from January 13, 2023, until February 20, 2023. During its five-week-long run, there will be plenty of new food studios (booths) and activities to try! As always, there is no additional charge for the festival, as it is included with your valid park admission!

Food Studios

The food studios (or food booths) are always a big hit at every Epcot festival. At the Festival of the Arts, there is a lot of thought that goes into the presentation of the food. The dishes are all ‘works of art’. Epcot has released the food studio line up for this year and we can’t wait to try it! Here are the food studios coming in 2023:

  • The Artist’s Table - The American Adventure

  • The Craftsman’s Courtyard

  • Deco Delights - Port of Entry

  • The Deconstructed Dish - Port of Entry

  • El Artista Hambriento - Mexico

  • Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food, and Little Sparks of Magic (NEW)

  • Goshiki - Japan

  • Gourment Landscapes - Canada

  • L’Art de la Cuisine Francaise - France

  • L’Arte di Mangiare - Italy

  • Moderne - Test Track

  • The Painted Panda - China

  • Pastoral Palate - Germany

  • Pop Eats - Port of Entry

  • Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina - Morocco

  • Vibrante & Vivido: Encanto Cocina - Between Morocco and France

There are so many fun things coming to this year’s Festival of the Arts. If you go to the America Gardens Theatre, you can watch artists give you a live lesson on how to draw a Disney character! There is also the Expression Selection: A Paint by Numbers Mural. If you’ve ever wanted to participate in creating a masterpiece, now is your chance! You can take part in this fun and unique activity from 11am to 5pm daily throughout the duration of the festival.

One of the coolest things to see is chalk art! Very talented artists create chalk drawings of all your favorite Disney characters. They are truly mind blowing! There are also plenty of shops set up around World Showcase where you can purchase the art of the incredible artists featured throughout!

If you are looking for a fun family activity, check out Disney on Broadway! It’s a concert series held at the America Gardens Theater that features amazing Broadway performances of your favorite Disney songs and movies!

Fun Activities

  • Figment’s Brush with the Masters - This fun-filled scavenger hunt will take you on an adventurous stroll around World Showcase to look for Figment! This is always a hit with families with younger kids. You can pick up a Figment scavenger hunt map at Port of Entry and a few other locations for $9.99 and you’ll even receive a special prize upon completion!

  • Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine - This is also a fan-favorite at the Festival of the Arts. In order to participate, you must purchase five specific menu items from the food studios around World Showcase. You will receive a stamp in your Festival Passport (which is free and can be found throughout the park) for each purchased food item. Once you have completed the walk and purchased the five food items, you can redeem it at the Deco Delights food studio to claim your prize!
