Everything to Expect at Legoland's Brick-or-Treat

By Holley Long

Spooky season is here, and many of Orlando’s theme parks have already rolled out their Halloween-centric events for this part of the year. Legoland Florida is hosting its own Halloween party, Brick-or-Treat, this weekend, and will prove to be a terrifically fun time for guests, both big and small!

Read on to learn what to expect at this year’s Brick-or-Treat!

What is Brick-or-Treat?

Legoland Florida’s Brick-or-Treat is a special Halloween event on select weekends from Sept. 16 to Oct. 29. The event always comes with candy and special treats, live shows, and character meet-and-greets, but this year's party has even more to enjoy.

Brick-or-Treat is also the start of the inaugural Monster Party, a theme that includes new shows (like a brand new firework show), never-before-seen exclusive LEGO characters, and more!

The best part? Admission to the event is included with the price of day tickets, making Brick-or-Treat a more affordable option than Halloween events at many other theme parks. Also, the event lasts all day, so families who have little ones with an early bedtime can enjoy the spooky activities without sacrificing sleep.

Special Attractions

Meeting the LEGO characters is always a joy, but spooky season means the monsters come out to play. Throughout the day, guests can hang out and snap photos with characters including Frankenstein, Mummy Monster, and Lord Vampyre. They’ll be out throughout the day, and available for photos at some of the event shows (more on those below), so there’s plenty of time to meet them.

In addition to meet-and-greets, there are rides to enjoy, some of which are getting a makeover for the event. The Dragon Party Coaster will become the Disco Party Coaster, delighting riders with fun lighting and Halloween tunes. The same is true for the Grand Carousel, which will become the Monster Party Carousel, twirling guests while a spooky soundtrack plays.

Special Treats

It’s not Halloween without Trick-or-Treating! Children—(and parents!)—are invited to dress in their best Halloween costumes and collect candy at various stations throughout the park. Bags are provided for the event, but don’t be surprised if it’s filled to the brim before the end of the day.

Candy isn’t the only Halloween treat to indulge in. Legoland will also have limited-time menu items, including the mint chocolate Squad Ghouls Shake, the sweet Happy Harvest Apple Fries (served with pumpkin spice ice cream), and the savory Frankie-Furter hot dog.

Shows and Entertainment

As mentioned, Brick-or-Treat will have shows and interactive entertainment to delight and amaze young guests. Some of those shows include:

  • 4D Movie: The Great Monster Chase: In this big screen adventure, LEGO characters embark on a mission to sneak into their own monster party—and special effects will have viewers feeling like they’re part of the action.

  • V.I.M. Dance Party: Host Lord Vampyre invites guests to show off their most monstrous moves and grooves at this interactive dance party.

  • The UnbeLEAFable Halloween Night: Throughout this musical show, which introduces LEGO Plant Monster, a strange plant grows out of control, and the cast must figure out how to stop it.

  • The Jammin’ Jacks: Rock out! In this show, LEGO jack-o-lanterns come to life, belting out fun songs while guests sing along with them.

There will also be a new firework show this year, presented by Lord Vampyre. The show is full of brick-bursting fireworks, music, and lights as Lord Vampyre casts a “spell” across Legoland. You won’t want to miss it!
