Celebrating the arts, culture, and foods from all around the world, what better way to come together as we approach the end of November? The 5th Multicultural Annual Festival is two days on November 26th from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and November 27th from 12:00 to 6:00 pm. FusionFest is completely free, and will be hosted at the Seneff Arts Plaza at the Dr. Phillips Center in Downtown Orlando.
FusionFest Inc. is a nonprofit organization aimed to bring together individuals of all cultures. The FusionFest festival is specifically a project of the Orange County Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs. This concept began with the collaboration of several people from various heritages within the organization. At first, these were bimonthly “Gathering of Nations” events with just a handful of cultures. It later evolved into what is now a large celebration and “fusion” of cultures all around the world, including over 140 different heritages across Central Florida.
With so many different cultures represented throughout, there are an endless number of activities to partake in and food to try! Some of these include cultural displays, a scavenger hunt, and art classes. There are also several stages throughout that feature music, dance, spoken word, and fashion from around the world. The International food court and marketplace will be filled with dishes inspired by cuisines from various countries. This may include Spain, China, Germany, India and more!
You can find more information about this event on the FusionFest website here. Be sure to grab your free tickets as well!
