GB Bottle Shop & Tasting Bar

Have you ever been out in a bar and there are only ten beer or wine options listed? Well, at the GB Bottle Shop & Tasting Bar they specialize in beer and wine, with over 20 beers on tap and 200 bottles for purchase in this bar and retail store.

Gnarly Barley

Gnarly Barley, a sandwich shop in Orlando just north of downtown, is the sister company to the GB Bottle Shop & Tasting Bar. The Gnarly Barley opened in 2012, serving a wide menu of food and unique beers. To celebrate its four year anniversary, they announced the opening of a second location which would be called the GB Bottle Shop & Tasting Bar, which later opened in 2017. They’re located in Ivanhoe Village, and offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

Beers and Wines

If you’re looking for an IPA, Lager, Cider, or Rosé, this shop has many different types of each. There’s a large fridge full of bottles and cans, all varying in price from $1.99 to $24.99. All items are priced “to go”, so if you do wish to enjoy your drink “for here” then there is a $2 corkage fee for all cans and bottles. If you are enjoying a drink on location, bring whichever bottle of your liking to the bar to pay, and you can either drink from the can or they provide glasses. I tried the Original Sin: Fuji Unfiltered Cider and it was delicious!

There are always at least 20 beers and ciders on tap at the bar, if nothing in the fridges appeals to your taste buds. You can get a small tasting of anything on tap, and there are three different price and size options if you get a glass.

Food

Not only does this location serve up all the beers, there are also pop up food carts outside on the patio. Ranging from BBQ to tacos, stop and grab some food with your drinks. The bottle shop is open until 11:00 pm on weekdays and 1:00 am on the weekends, but the carts close when they’re all out of food for the day.
