Indiana Jones' world of adventure turns into a world full of holiday cheer at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar in Disney Springs! Here, you can enjoy a themed restaurant with a limited time menu full of holiday cookies, snacks, and cocktails.
Atmosphere
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar is located in The Landing area of Disney Springs - my personal favorite! This is the area where Wine Bar George, The Boathouse, and Paradiso 37 are located, among others. I suggest parking in the Orange garage to get here, and also arriving early! Jock Lindsey’s is a first come first serve restaurant, so tables fill up quickly and are usually snatched up as soon as a group gets up.
The holiday theming is apparent from even the exterior of the building! Over the traditional Jock Lindsey sign is a “Holiday” sign made of lights, garland, and wreaths. But that’s just the beginning!
Stepping into Jock Lindsey’s during the holidays is like emerging into a winter wonderland… without the snow! All around the inside of the bar are Christmas lights, Christmas presents, and easter eggs of holiday decorations everywhere you look.
Holiday Bites
Let’s get to the best part: all of the deliciousness Jock Lindsey’s has to offer this time of year. The full menu that they serve throughout the year is also available at this time, but the holiday menu is given to you separately at the table. This menu is decorated like a Christmas postcard and is totally adorable! There are savory and sweet options available for the holiday season, as well as cocktails that are just as beautiful as they taste!
For savory, enjoy holiday classics like “Naughty or Nice” Deviled Eggs, or Grandma’s Revenge Venison Sliders. Personally, my favorite is the Boughs of Holly Flatbread with ham, brie, watercress, granny smith apples, pomegranate seeds, and a lemon vinaigrette.
For a sweet treat, check out their Post-Flight Milk and Cookies, scrumptious enough for Saint Nick himself. Reading articles from last year, it seems that the flavors of the cookies are new this season. We were offered Pecan Pie, Apple Pie, and Gingerbread flavored cookies which were all decorated to perfection. You can choose to have the cookies served with milk or coquito, either way I think you can’t go wrong!
Festive Drinks
The drinks are also full of holiday theming, with drinks like the Claus-Mo. This is a spin on a Classic Cosmopolitan, but served with a sugar rim and a Santa hat made with marshmallows and strawberries. I’ve also seen the hot chocolate flight all over social media! Three different hot chocolates are served at Jock Lindsey’s in a flight that is picture perfect. The flavors this year are spiced butterscotch hot chocolate, white chocolate hot chocolate, and peppermint hot chocolate. Honestly, everything we tried was a hit and we’re ready to hop on our sleigh to try more treats soon.
