New Interactive Disney Store

Last year, we saw the unfortunate closure of many Disney stores around the United States. This year, Disney fans got a little surprise and saw a huge, new interactive Walt Disney World Store arrive on International Drive in Orlando! This store is unlike any other Disney Store we’ve ever seen. Here is everything we know about the new Disney store!

Where Is It?

This new Disney Store can be found at 8050 International Drive in Orlando. The outside of the building has a huge, animated display of your favorite Disney characters with the 50^th anniversary theme! It’s humongous and can be seen from the road, welcoming you to this new location! It’s definitely a great feeling to drive by and see a little bit of Disney magic without being in the parks.

What Can I Find There?

In addition to merchandise that can be found in each of the Disney Parks, you can also purchase park tickets, all kinds of fun souvenirs, Disney Vacation Club points, and have fun with interactive experiences! This new store reminds me of a smaller version of the World of Disney Store in Disney Springs, and the Emporium in Magic Kingdom, with all its great offerings! It has merchandise from all four parks including clothing, plush, mugs, candy, pins, and more! You can also find many different themed souvenirs from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and more! There is also plenty of 50^th Anniversary merchandise on display right in the front of the store.

Virtual Discovery Station

For the first time ever, guests can experience a station where you can virtually tour different Disney Vacation Club Resorts! See Disney’s beautiful resorts like Aulani in Hawaii, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and many more! Guests will step inside of a small room and projections of many different Disney Vacation Club Resorts will be displayed on the walls. This makes it so convenient to tour virtually, without having to schedule an in-person tour for each of the resorts. At the end of the virtual tour, guests have the option to learn more from a friendly Cast Member, or purchase tickets for the parks at the Disney Ticket Center!

Overall

It is so wonderful to see a new Disney Store pop up in the Orlando area! Driving down International Drive and seeing that amazing, huge, animated Disney display will definitely bring a smile to your face. Visitint this store is a great to do if you are having a relaxing day away from the parks, but are still craving some Disney magic!
