Lakeland Antique Mall

You may have visited a thrift store in the past, but I can guarantee you’ve never been to one quite like Lakeland Antique Mall. Located in Lakeland, this antique mall is a huge warehouse filled with booths offering second hand and also hand crafted items. Most uniquely, the Antique Mall carries items straight from the theme parks of Central Florida, including old ride pieces, furniture from the hotels, props from Halloween Horror Nights, and so much more.

Vendor Booths

The Lakeland Antique Mall offers booths for different vendors to rent and sell their wares. There are rows upon rows of different booths offering items that vary depending on the seller. You may find antique sporting goods in one booth, handmade soaps and skincare in another, and collectibles like Loungefly bags and Funko pops at another. There is seriously so much to look at that every time I go I dedicate several hours to visiting, and I still don’t see everything they have to offer. There are bins with probably thousands of theme park pins as well, so there is definitely something to look at for everybody.

Theme Park Antiques

Throughout the mall you will find tons of items from the theme parks at the booths like pins, clothes, toys, collectibles, and so much more. However, in the back of the store, you will find towering props, pieces of furniture from the hotels, old cast member costumes, and hundreds of other items straight from the theme parks that you cannot find anywhere else. When we recently visited, we found pieces of the Shrek 4-D attraction from Universal Orlando including the ride glasses, props from the pre-show area, and the signs that were displayed outside of the ride.

There were also many Christmas trees of all colors, shapes, and sizes from Universal’s Grinchmas and props from Halloween Horror Nights. Disney lovers will love the furniture from the hotels that the Lakeland Antique Mall sells. You might find pillows from the Grand Floridian, dressers from Caribbean Beach, and photos from the walls of the Polynesian! My favorite thing I’ve ever spotted at the Antique Mall was the yellow rose that was on the iconic Pink Cake Castle from Magic Kingdom’s 25th anniversary in 1996.

Overall

For collectibles, theme park props, antique and vintage goods, and even more, check out the Lakeland Antique Mall! There is so much to see, take photos with, and enjoy, that this could be an experience that lasts the whole day! Even if you aren’t into the theme parks, there are thousands of sports goods, handmade items, housewares, as well as additional treasures awaiting you!

Lakeland

Lakeland is located on the western side of Central Florida. It is home to Southeastern University, antique stores, beautiful homes on lakes and brick roads, and even filming locations for Edward Scissorhands! This is a great location for all ages as there are college events, coffee shops, and amazing food spots for young adults. In addition to this, there are beautiful waterfronts, gardens, amazing schools, and parks for parents, adults, and seniors. Located about 45 minutes away from the theme parks and downtown Orlando, Lakeland is a quieter part of Central Florida that still keeps you close to the action and fun.
