Christmas in July is here, and with exciting news that the MVMCP is returning to Walt Disney World this November! The Christmas party has been paused for the past two years due to the pandemic, and was temporarily replaced by Mickey’s Very Merriest After-Hours Party. While the temporary replacement was nice, it could never take the place of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! We are so excited to have it back, and here is what we know so far!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be returning on November 8, 2022. It will be held on select dates throughout November and December at Magic Kingdom. The party will be held from 7pm-12am but guests may enter the park as early as 4pm! You do not need a park ticket for the day of the party, just your party ticket! Tickets will go on sale July 7, 2022 and will range from $149-199 per person per night. Click here for more information on ticket prices!
Many of the festivities that we all know and love will be returning this year too! Classics like “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade”, “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” and “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” are all set to return to the party! There will also be holiday overlays on some of our favorite rides! Space Mountain-Holiday Run, Tomorrowland Speedway: Race Through the Holidays, Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor Holiday Special and the Mad Tea Party will all be getting a holiday makeover! “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas” will also be returning! Main Street USA will also be completely decked out for the holidays as usual, with shimmering lights and Christmas decorations covering every building. Who else can’t wait to see “snow” on Main Street?!
Treats & Extras
As always, there will be plenty of delicious holiday themed treats throughout the holiday season. There will also be plenty of holiday themed merchandise! One of the best parts of the Christmas party is all of the free hot chocolate, cookies, and treats! Three new photo opportunities will also be available this year and guests of the party will also receive a special 50th anniversary commemorative holiday keepsake!

There’s a reason why they call it “the most wonderful time of the year”. Nobody does the holidays like Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom somehow becomes even more magical, and a great time is had by all! Keep in mind that this is one of the busiest and most popular times to be at Magic Kingdom, so be sure to get your tickets right away for the Christmas party – they sell out very quickly!
