Milkhouse Orlando

What is Milkhouse?

The Milkhouse project has been years in the making. Now we finally get to experience a collaboration of some of Orlando’s best food spots! The concept is to bring a variety of local businesses together to create an open and social environment while you grab bites from each vendor.

Nothing’s really missing at Milkhouse. There’s so many choices when it comes to food, you’ll have to stop in more than once to try everything!

Food halls are becoming more and more common in the Orlando area and it’s a win for everyone involved. Small businesses get a large amount of exposure/patronage, while locals and travelers alike get to experience some of Orlando’s Best!

Location & Vendors

Milkhouse is located on North Bumby Avenue, settled beautifully in the milk district. The concept was created by Alex Tchekmeian and Ian Yeakle who brought us Foxtail Coffee. Not only will Foxtail be featured in the eatery but inside it holds beer on tap from The Ravenous Pig and the cocktail bar run by Courtesy. Of course, we gotta have something sweet so Kelly’s, a local ice cream shop, is also holding space here. You can try some seriously delectable Italian influenced dishes from Cicchetti or some scrumptious bagels from Bagel Bruno.

Story

The building that Milkhouse now calls home was a 7/11 in the 90’s. The owner actually worked in the store and eventually bought the building! There’s hard work, growth and success written all over this place. Seeing huge collaborations like this come to fruition is extraordinary. Watching the City grow into this new and still so true-to-itself place is so encouraging.

With enough persistence, the Milkhouse crew was able to buy the building and breathe new life into Bumby Ave. It’s mind blowing to think how time and a few different decisions can truly change everything about a city. It’s great Seeing people who’ve put in the time to build this culture will be able to reap the benefits of these decisions!

Like I said, wins for everyone involved!

What will be the first thing you try at Milkhouse this weekend?
